Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. “I used Heather for our chuppah rental for my wedding at Windham Manor. I saw her brown bark chuppah on Instagram and immediately knew I had to have it. Heather was amazing to work with and the result was absolutely stunning! I am so in love with how it turned out. She even helped me customize the wooden platform from another one of her rentals to work with our chuppah and give me the exact vision I wanted. She was also super flexible. I was slow to decide which location at the venue I wanted the ceremony at and she did not rush me at all. I ended up wanting the ceremony on the grass and the venue said the chuppah would have to be taken down the same night if we were to be allowed to do this. Of course Heather said this would be no problem at all and was immediately willing to stay and do this for us. They day of our wedding ended up being a bit crazy with on and off rain but Heather was totally calm and go with the flow while the planner worked on making the rain decision. She also attached a family tallis to the top of the chuppah and it stayed perfectly, despite the not ideal weather conditions. Highly recommend working with Heather!!!”

“I just got married in the beginning of May and Julia was one of the SWEETEST wedding vendors I worked with! My aunt, who is a florist in Korea, was supposed to do my flowers but unfortunately got injured last minute which restricted her from traveling. I was freaking out trying to find a last minute florist 2 months before my wedding. I called a lot of places, and also remembered my one friend raving about Ruby Rivers Floral. Although they had availability, other florists seemed to be annoyed that it was so last minute. She knew right away that I was going for an elegant and timeless look and suggested whites and creams with touches of green to really elevate the elegance to another level. She also suggested different types of textures to give my flowers that big luscious look that I wanted. EVERYONE complimented how gorgeous my bouquet and the arch was so I seriously cannot recommend Ruby Rivers Florals enough! She wrote a card with each flower’s meaning which was very thoughtful, along with including my late mom’s favorite flowers in my bouquet (she took time to find them because they weren’t in season & hard to find!). My earliest memories are always centered around picking flowers in my mothers gardens. I would grab one of the glass bottles she collected and play around with any flowers I could find. Flower design is my passion. My shop is located in our 150 year old barn that in itself is full of character. I try to be a vendor who is easy and fun to work with. I am human and understand money does not grow on trees so I try my hardest to work within the client's budget. Each bouquet I create tells a story, each unique beautiful.

“Working with Tiara at Fiddlestix Florals was huge in helping us to shape our entire wedding experience. Tiara has been with me through the planning process for the past two years and truly became more than just a vendor—she became a friend. We had multiple meetings (both in person and over the phone), and every single time, she made me feel more at ease and less stressed. On the big day, Tiara and her daughter were incredible behind the scenes. They managed every little detail so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. From reusing and seamlessly moving décor from the arbor to the sweetheart table, to making my vision of a baby’s breath-lined aisle come to life despite the wind—everything was beautiful. The florals, especially the pops of peaches and oranges in the bouquets and boutonnieres, tied the whole look together perfectly. (She even met us with drinks in hand after our ceremony getaway ride!) They also paid such close attention to my (very organized!) system, packing everything into the right bins at the end of the night and even loading them into our cars. Tiara truly went above and beyond—she even took our leftover food from the caterer and dropped it off at my parents’ Airbnb on her way home. Her kindness, care, and attention to detail were unmatched. I can’t recommend Fiddlestix enough!”
