I'm originally from Marshall, a little town in East Texas! I moved here 3 years ago for job opportunities, and got a job as a dental assistant through my family friend. I have fallen in love with this community. Ever since, I have been building relationships in the greater Charlottesville area. In my spare time I like to be at home with my boyfriend Michael and our two dogs Ellie and Kiba. I also like to explore the area for new wineries, restaurants, hiking trails and viewpoints.

I’m AnaGabriele (Ana), and the owner of Unearthed Photographical! My partner and I have been photographing weddings since 2016, when two upcoming brides I’d gone to high school with, saw that I was still taking photos and asked me to photograph their big days! Those two events made me realize how much I absolutely love wedding photography. Since then, we’ve honed in on our craft, learning how to make the process as smooth as possible for all of our clients. We love riding out on the Harley, crafting, and hanging out with our toddlers.

A little bit about me so you feel like you're connecting with a real person- I'm Emily. I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin and so I love animals and nature. I love thrift stores, tropical plants, and horses. I live with a little tribe of wildmen- my husband, my two year old, and our cat who is probably part lion. I have a counseling degree and that has really formed me as a photographer. My film guy is my husband Zach, and we met in a library. He knows five different ways to brew coffee and can play six different instruments.

I am a wedding photographer based out of the Outer Banks, NC. I cover destination weddings and elopements all over the United States. My goal is to not just be another vendor but more like a friend on your big day! I will always be your biggest hype girl but I can also take control and get things done. I have several years of experience in the wedding coordination world as well so you will never find another photographer more in-tune with the flow of a wedding day and all the details that go into making it so special!

For me, photography all started with the outdoors. As someone who loves to bike, hike, kayak, and backpack, photos were a way to capture the vistas and memories I was creating. Photography snowballed into sports, journalism, concerts, products, events, portraits, finally landing on weddings. Weddings became what I loved most due to their fast pace nature, creative freedom, and the opportunity to document real, life-long memories. Every couple and every family has a unique, incredible story. It’s a blessing to be able to document these life-changing events that people can look back on forever.

I have an absolute passion for capturing genuine moments and the magic of love that couples share when marrying the love of their life.
