Cefalo's Banquet And Event Center

5.0

Carnegie, PA
  • Up to 200 guests

Cefalo’s Banquet and Event Center opened its doors in February 2005. Owners Leonard, Kathleen, and Dean Cefalo purchased the former Christ United Presbyterian Church and completely redesigned and renovated the over century old stone structure. The acoustically friendly main room sets the perfect stage for cocktail hour. The exclusive VIP loft oversees the stage and lounge. The banquet room is completely separate from the main club, allowing guests to have an intimate dining experience. We specialize in wedding receptions and corporate functions. Cefalo's is also available for fundraisers, showers, private parties, funeral luncheons, and many other types of events.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Versatile for various event styles
  • Offers full-service amenities
  • Has a dance floor for celebration

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • Does not allow pets
We just had our wedding at Cefalo's this past weekend and it was First Class. Sixty guests attended. The owners, Lenny and Dean and Amy, the Manager, were fantastic to work with and made the event everything we dreamed of. We felt very welcome throughout the planning. Cefalo's is a beautiful place to hold a wedding ceremony then dine on fantastic food cooked up by Dean and served by his staff in their dining room. After dinner, you can spend the rest of the evening partying the ballroom. They offer all the services, (or can recommend) you need when planning a wedding. For us and our guests, it was super convenient and easier to have everything for the wedding in one beautiful setting. The food, the hor's d'oeuvres, and entrees was amazing. There's also a huge bar attended by professional bartenders. The food servers were friendly, professional and very attentive. We received so many compliments from our guests on both the food and service. Many said that was the best food they ever had at a wedding! So, if you're looking for a top notch, First Class venue to have your wedding, look no further then Cefalos.

I would highly recommend the Willow for any and all events. We had our wedding there September of 2019. From the beginning Francesca went above and beyond to always keep us informed and to help make our vision come true. As a stressed bride she helped keep me on track with what needed done and was my peace of mind that everything was going to be great. The day of the rehearsal dinner and wedding her and the whole staff were phenomenal, always friendly and checking in with my husband and I and made sure that everything ran smoothly. The food was absolutely amazing, a year later we still have people praising how great the food was! Choosing the Willow was the best thing we did and we will be forever grateful to them!

Awarded Best of Zola
Their communication style was poor, often accusatory and defensive when we tried to clarify details with Kelley. However, the value was great - they allowed our pup to be part of the ceremony, which was a special touch. But we had to get any promises from the coordinator, Kelley, in writing, as many things that were "included" in our initial meeting ended up costing extra. Overall, the lack of transparency and professionalism made planning more stressful than needed but overall the day went very well the ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a blast.
