Our venue represents the most authentic, rustic ceremony and reception barn in central Texas. From the rafters and wood beams, to the shiplap and barn doors throughout (not to mention the silo bar, windmill and classic cistern), you’re bound to have guests talking about your wedding day for years to come. The barn has a capacity to fit 350 guests comfortably with additional seating room outside, under our beautiful pavilion, as well as in our artificial turf section. The 1886 Stafford Opera House offers two distinctive event spaces located at the heart of our beautiful and historic town square. We at CHPT want your celebration to reflect YOU; therefore, you are welcome to select the event planner, florist, décor team, caterer, bartender, and entertainment of your choice—we do not require the use of a mandatory vendor list. Every reservation at the 1886 Stafford Opera House includes tables (uncovered) and chairs. The Grand Hall, located on the second floor, is the epitome of timeless opulence. Large enough to comfortably seat up to 300, the Grand Hall will captivate you and your guests with its historic elegance.
