“When I was first looking for a florist, I was overwhelmed with how many options there were. I came across Claudia / Kolibri Flower Lab's instagram and immediately knew that this was the one! All of Claudia's floral arrangements were gorgeous and were in line with the color scheme I was planning for my wedding. Throughout the entire planning process, Claudia was quick to respond and made it clear that I could reach out to her at anytime. Whenever I wanted to have a quick call, she always immediately scheduled some time for us to chat. Claudia was not only super responsive, she was so sweet and friendly and it's clear she's passionate about what she does. In addition to having Claudia do the florals for my wedding, I also rented candles from her. In the end, the florals combined with the candles were literally everything I'd been imagining but 10000x better. I got so many compliments from guests on how beautiful everything looked and the attention to detail! If I had to do it all over again I'd choose Kolibri Flower Lab without a second thought. Florals can be expensive and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do everything that I wanted, but Claudia's affordable pricing allowed me to. I am sooo satisfied and impressed with Claudia's work, thank you so much Claudia for bringing my dream to life! It was everything I'd imagined it to be and more. You truly have a gift!!”

“Working with The One Studio LLC was such a great decision for our wedding day. From the start, they kept us in the loop and answered every question we had about our floral arrangements. Their eye for detail really showed in everything they created for us each arrangement was thoughtful and gorgeous. When our outdoor ceremony got rained out and we had to move everything inside last minute, they handled it without missing a beat and set up our Plan B space so beautifully that you'd never know it wasn't the original plan. Despite the chaos of moving all their work indoors, they stayed professional and positive the entire time. I'm so grateful we chose them and would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding.”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (101 reviews)
Oklahoma City, OK
  • Starts at $350

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!”

Woodland Floral Design Co.
Rating: 5.0 (78 reviews)
Biglerville, PA

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

“Misha is incredible! Wedding florals can be so daunting, but from our first Zoom meeting, all of my worries were gone. It was clear Misha genuinely enjoys making a personal connection with her clients. She checked in periodically and was available whenever we had questions. I knew Misha was going to create something beautiful, but beautiful is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Our wedding florals were stunning. I told Misha I wanted bright and fun, but that was really it. As a result of our conversations, I knew I could trust her vision and creativity. She blew us away! As soon as I saw them, my jaw dropped. She created 2 floral columns for the ceremony space and lined the aisle with the most magnificent florals. And when I say florals, I mean florals. Her designs are teeming with blooms! Everything down to the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages was full of substance. She also created the most amazing couch installation for one of our lounge areas that was the backdrop for one of our favorite pictures. Every guest at our wedding made a comment about the florals being exquisite, and we could not agree more. Misha was then able to repurpose all of the florals from the ceremony space to the reception space as centerpieces for the tables and decoration for the sweetheart table. I will never get over how absolutely perfect the florals were on our wedding day. Misha has a gift, and anyone getting married should 100 percent work with her as their florist.”

“Four Seasons Flowers was very prompt in their responses. I was able to make an appointment with Carma to go over my wishes and photos I liked. When it came to my mock creation, we had three different centerpiece designs, Karen (the designer) was there to help tweak the flowers to look exactly how we wanted it to! The work was stunning. Our photographer was happy that we went with Four Seasons because he knew the flowers would look good and have water for the hot summer day. I guess some florist's flowers do not survive long enough for the photos, while ours were gorgeous the whole day. Their team set up and delivered my flowers smoothly all day. Not one point did I ever question if the flowers were going to be there on time. They were also very friendly. I highly recommend using them!”

We worked with Hope Harrod for our wedding in Carmel, and she immediately came in with expert suggestions on flowers, design, and how to work within our budget. She was incredibly patient as I changed the design a couple of times, especially since we had only about a month and a half to plan. Ours was a hybrid Indian and American wedding, and Hope helped us find the perfect balance between colorful Indian wedding florals and the softer, muted look we wanted for the reception. She knew Coxhall Gardens well and guided us on what would complement the naturally beautiful venue. Everything was done with real flowers, which was important to us, and the final result was beautiful. I definitely recommend Flower Boys, and especially Hope!”

I have been a floral designer for 9 years and I have a store front location on East Tanque Verde. I love to do weddings and events as well. Working with brides and grooms to plan their beautiful flowers for their wedding day is my favorite part of the floral business.

“Bloomies Flowers was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding! Their communication was fast, sweet, and amazing throughout the entire planning process. The floral arrangements they created for our ceremony and reception were incredibly detailed and beautiful. The floating candles they provided for the tables were absolutely stunning, and their recommendation to mix in some candles with the flowers was a money-saver that ended up looking even better than just having all flowers. We loved working with Susan, the owner, who was truly amazing and made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. I would highly recommend Bloomies Flowers to any couple planning their wedding - they'll make your special day even more beautiful!”

    Pittsboro, NC
    • Starts at $1,500

Every wedding tells a story, and I believe the flowers should feel just as personal. As a NC native and Pittsboro farmer-florist, I grow many of the flowers I design with, pairing the best of each season with your style, color palette, values and the details that matter most to you. Whether it's a favorite color, a cherished family memory or simply the feeling you want your guests to remember, I love translating those ideas into flowers that feel aligned with you. You don't need to know flower names or what's in bloom. That's where I come in. I guide you through the process, creating flowers that are beautiful, seasonal and very you.

“I can’t say enough amazing things about Buck Naked Farm! The flowers for our fall wedding were stunning. I loved colorful dahlias. They perfectly complemented our barn wedding venue and the colors just popped against the bridesmaid dresses. Jennifer took the time to get to know us and added small details that reflected us —like tucking in blooms that were my grandmother’s favorite flower. It made the arrangements feel so special. She even custom grew the most amazing colored sunflowers for us! The entire process was seamless, She communicated clearly and often so I knew everything was covered. If you’re a bride who wants something different than run-of-the-mill flowers, Buck Naked Farm is IT.”

    About wedding florists

How much do wedding bouquets cost?

Wedding bouquets vary in cost by bouquet size, quantity and density of blooms, season, and flower type. Your wedding location and cost of living will also have an impact. In general, you can expect to pay $200–$400 for a larger main bouquet, and $100–$250 for smaller wedding party bouquets. Communicate openly with your florist about your budget and vision—colors and inspirational photos are often more helpful to your florist than specific types of flowers.

How can we save money on our wedding flowers?

Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. Talk openly with your florist about the look you want to achieve, rather than specific flowers you want. They can suggest flower species and options to make your vision happen in a way that fits your budget.
