We had an amazing experience. Ceremony at the Riverside Park. Reception in the Ballroom. Beautiful venue right by the river. Reasonably priced. One night of complementary hotel stay. Pet friendly. Excellent communication. Food was good. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. We had horse drawn carriage and got it all worked out within a month. We added more people to our guest list a few days before the wedding and the venue was able accommodate everyone. We had some hiccups day of but it all got sorted out promptly. I cannot expressed how easy it was to work with Anna (event coordinator) and the all of the other staffs.

Chapel Of The Archangels

5.0

Beaver Dam, WI
  • Up to 235 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $4,000

The Chapel was finished in 1905 and was in use until 2007 when the 3 Catholic Parishes (St. Michael’s, St. Patrick’s, and St. Peter’s) merged into one. The new Parish is now known as St. Katharine Drexel Parish. In November 2010 we purchased the church from St. Katharine Drexel Parish. A lifeless shell that had been empty for 3 years, we hope to revitalize this stately building, share its beauty and grandeur with the community, and open it to all who are looking for a unique space to hold events. Opening in mid-summer of 2011, Chapel of the Archangels is limited only by your imagination, we offer a great place to hold weddings, wedding receptions, anniversaries, vow renewals. The sky’s the limit! We also offer a convenient reception hall, meeting and educational facility in the Angel’s Den downstairs, complete with bar, kitchen facilities, and Wi-Fi. We are a non-denominational facility. We are also handicapped accessible to both the main sanctuary and to the basement via the elevator.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Accommodates more than 200 guests
  • Multiple event spaces
  • Combines timeless elegance with history

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
  • No built-in audiovisual options
  • Requires outside catering services
It was great being able to have the entire facility for the whole weekend at a great price. Friday for rehearsal and set up, Saturday ceremony and reception and Sunday for cleanup! We did leave the facility to go to a local park for outdoor photos but mainly everything was at the location.

Awarded Best of Zola
My spouse and I had the literal wedding of our dreams. The Gardens were able to accommodate things we wanted, like family style dinner, long tables, great sound quality and an incredibly beautiful outdoor space. Getting married here was easy, the whole team communicated so quickly and respectfully. Being a queer couple, it was great to be in a space we could be fully ourselves. I don't think either of us could have anticipated anything better. The food was delicious, the venue was gorgeous, the people were great and the day was perfect. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and they made everything so easy for planning! From checklists, to tipping guides, to responding (kindly) to my endless emails- we couldn’t have asked for more. I have to give a special shoutout to Hannah, who’s coordinating services we added onto our day. She truly understood and executed my wedding vision better than I could’ve ever imagined.
