My name is Lanae Workman, Owner and creative genius behind Paisley Cakes. I have had a passion for baking and dessert since I was a child, using my first Easy Bake Oven. I began decorating cakes as a hobby, and that hobby soon turned into a desire to run a business. I graduated from college with a Bachelor's degree in business management, an emphasis in marketing, and a minor in culinary arts. I was fully prepared for the next step, which was to open a shop, and share my talents and tasty cakes with you! That dream became a reality in August of 2013, when I, with the help of my husband Michael, opened our cake shop in Blackfoot.

“My husband and I renewed our vows in Grand Teton National Park for our 15th Wedding Anniversary. We ordered the smallest size cake since it would just be the 2 of us. Lanae was absolutely fantastic through the entire process. We live in FL so we worked with her to get a cake tasting kit mailed to us. It was difficult to choose a flavor because they were all so good. Lanae also worked with us on the cake delivery so that we wouldn't stress about picking it up before our day. The final result was everything we wanted in a cake: gorgeous and delicious! We highly recommend getting your cake from Paisley Cakes!”

We began as a concession company providing cotton candy at sporting events. In the fall of 2021, we extended our brand by starting our own manufacturing plant. Sweet Buckets was born as an option for customers and businesses to purchase Cotton Candy and Gourmet popcorns direct from our company.

“We had our wedding reception at a brewery and wanted some easy to eat sweet and salty snacks. These popcorn flavors were delicious, they sent us flavors to try before we decided. We chose 4 flavors and they shipped them right to our house. The popcorn buckets had our cute custom labels which they designed for us and looked PERFECT! We had tons of compliments on the popcorn. We ordered plenty and people were grabbing them to take home at the end of the night. A perfect snack after a few beers. Theu were very fast with the samples and the order too!”
