Apple Ridge Farm is a non-profit venue, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Coper Hill, VA that is perfect for your rustic wedding dreams. 100% of the proceeds from your wedding goes directly to sending children to camp each summer. Our wedding packages include the use of three buildings on property: the Spangler Pavilion, the Meador building and our restored dairy barn, Porterfield. Every wedding packages also includes a one night stay for the couple in one of our Bed & Breakfast Cabooses. We're a family-owned working farm located in New Castle, VA about 20 minutes from Roanoke. We have >100 acres of pristine land that backs up to National Forest land. The back of the farm has a small, rustic barn that has been converted for use as a intimate ceremony and can accommodate several people or a covered area for serving food, cake table, and gifts area. Couples are welcome to hang photos and decorate the barn to their liking. There is ample room for tents to accommodate DJ services, dance floor, caterers, etc. The lower section of the property is meticulously maintained and has a built-in stone grill and a large fire pit that couples are welcome to use. Ample parking is available. Power is available via generator to power lights, music, etc. We're happy to work with couples or wedding planners to make your big day unique and stress-free.

Rendezvous is French for a meeting at an agreed time and place, which is exactly what we intend to do. We want to create a market that brings the community together, gives shoppers access to local products, while generating business for the small business owners of Roanoke and surrounding areas.

Our 5,500sf venue will easily accommodate several hundred seated guests. No matter the season, our climate-controlled space will keep guests comfortable. In addition to our indoor space, the venue includes a lighted patio area with a gazebo and bar for outdoor festivities, and a front porch. There is a pond and mountain view for those that seek this picturesque backdrop. Our modern farm style with neutral colors will be pleasing to all and provide a perfect setting for any special event.

Our venue at the Science Museum of Western Virginia has 2 floors that you can utilize or rent out one floor for the event. Our space is does not include a caterer but we can offer suggestions to use in the area. We can also obtain a license for liquor, wine and beer. The space can include multiple different exhibits so your guests can play some games and socialize during the event.
