The Tucker Homestead is a beautiful historic home with history and elegance dating back to 1910. The setting is on a large farm that is surrounded by rolling hills and knob land. From the house, to the beautiful log cabin located adjacent to the house, large mature trees, landscaped grounds, the spacious patio with a fireplace makes a perfect setting and backdrop for your special day. An additional house is provided for the bride and her bridesmaids to have their hair and makeup done. The bride then comes to the Homestead house to get into her dress for first looks and photos. The groomsmen have a beautiful Log cabin to get ready in and await the time. There are different packages to accommodate your wedding guest list. Caron Tucker, the owner is on the grounds at all times to make sure your day is stress free and to make sure everything goes smoothly. The nostalgic Ashley Inn is the most romantic location for your Kentucky bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding weekend, and out-of-town guests. Celebrate lakeside near a gorgeous weeping willow, on the front lawn of the antebellum mansion, or in our newly-constructed, fully-enclosed Carriage House. The Inn and surrounding 130 acres is the ideal location and comes equipped with all the facilities and staff you need. Step through the doors of this classic federal-style home into a historic picture book. From the white oak floors to the handmade glass panes, experience life in a bygone era. The Inn was conceived in 2007, but this beautiful home dates back to 1840. Built by a southern family whose son-in-law would eventually march by the estate on his way to fight in the Civil War. It has since served as a dairy, a school, and is now the center of The Meadow Lake Equestrian Center, our on-site multi-discipline full-service equestrian facility.
