“Words cannot describe this magical venue- you have to see it to believe it! It's literally breathtaking. The staff were amazing from the early communication to my day of event manager (the two ladies helped me A LOT!). Amanda was someone who I worked with on my multiple visits and she is an absolute gem! The staff helped make my vision a reality and even a month later, people are still raving about our wedding. The venue is so gorgeous (think double deck cabin style) that it needs minimalist decor (they even have a rental room you can use for the decor) because the scenery is more than enough for pictures. The layout of your event is very up to you with multiple options for where you would want the ceremony to be held. I loved using the patio for the ceremony (gorgeous trees as the backdrop), then held the reception inside (main level with bar deck), and had the dancing back out on the patio (the staff cleared the space but left chairs and benches along the outer rim). The nearby fire pit was perfect for a s'mores station and the side of the building has a nice grassy lawn where guests also enjoyed corn hole. The bridal suite is of good size with a full bathroom and a private deck (my ladies and I enjoyed our morning to the fullest), and then there are two other smaller suites (we did groom suite and the other room was to co-mingle). The staff let me plan multiple week day visits prior to my official planning meeting so that I could get measurements for things, scope out the layout and really get my vision put together on my time. My family and friends all loved staying in the treehouses (what a cool experience itself!). The bar is included with the venue (AMAZING packages with more options included in each than I have seen anywhere else- even with the basic package) so I just had to focus on the decor and the food (catering and desserts). You do only get the venue the day-of unless you luck out and pay for early set-up the day prior (I got lucky with my Saturday wedding and was able to come in Friday to decorate but they are normally booked with Friday weddings). Lots of parking made it convenient for guests. I included multiple photos (credit to Travis Lontoc) to help give an idea of the space and how we used it.”

“We love working with couples at Nationwide Hotel for several reasons. First, it is logistically so much easier for couples to have everything taking place in one location. They can stay overnight the night before, get ready there, ceremony, photos, reception, and then afterward all of their guests can stay right there. This means there is no need to coordinate guest transportation, off-site hotels, bridal party transportation for photos, or have an elongated break for photography after the ceremony since it is much faster to do on site. Second, there are plenty of outdoor spaces for couples or bridal party photos if it rains! This is a huge advantage that not all venues have and rain is a real concern for an Ohio wedding. Third, there is a variety of spots on the property for doing group or couples photos. You can have the look of brick, green lawn, the beautiful pergola with all the greenery, the iconic covered walkway, some flowers, a tree-lined area where the leaves change colors SO perfectly in the Fall, and of course the fountain! By the way, the pond is amazing for sunset photos! We have been at Nationwide many times as photographers and always had a great experience. The food was always hot and served on schedule, and their staff is so friendly and genuinely wants to create the best experience for their guests. You cannot go wrong with any of their event spaces!”

“The Venue The venue itself is stunning year round. Words can't do justice to how gorgeous the building and grounds are. We had spent months looking at other venues beforehand, but nothing even came close. The property has a history and story to it as well, which we can definitely appreciate. It feels secluded with trees and foliage surrounding it on all sides and the mansion is unreal. This place is a hidden gem. The Staff Lisa Ferraro is just the best. She is so kind, insightful, proactive, and all-around fantastic at what she does. We'd spent a good amount of time getting to know her on the first day that we toured and everything just clicked. We had great, fun conversations and felt so much more relaxed about our wedding knowing that this was it. She connected us with the best vendors (shout out to Matt the DJ with Seamless Sounds!), went out of her way to accommodate the accessibility needs of our guests, and asked all the right questions to keep our wedding planning on track. She truly went above and beyond to make sure our wedding went perfectly and we can't say enough great things about her! The rest of the staff nailed it too-- the setup day-of looked beautiful and teardown went flawlessly.”

“Brookshire caught our attention when searching for venues for their beautiful ceremony outdoor space and the all inclusive aspects of the venue. Both of those impressed us throughout the whole wedding planning process and afterwards when seeing our wedding photos. Kira was our amazing coordinator through Brookshire and she was very easy to communicate with and helped us plan the details for our big day. Leading up to it and on the day of we felt confident that with her and the staff everything would run smoothly. With Brookshire being all-inclusive it was very easy to pick out the details we wanted regarding cake, centerpieces, linens, food/drink, dj and more because Brookshire had all of those vendors booked for us. We just got to tell each vendor our ideas and then they took care of the work making it come to life at Brookshire. We were glad we could also bring some personal touches into Brookshire and have the coordinators help us arrange those. All of our guests were impressed with the food quality, the outdoor and indoor space along with the smoothness of how the wedding day ran. We truly got to enjoy our day as Brookshire was very organized and made sure our day was just how we wanted it to be.
