“I tried planning our wedding on my own, but about 6 months from the date, I was getting so overwhelmed that I just wanted to not have a wedding at all. So I started calling around and interviewing, but so many wedding coordinators weren't willing to do what I needed within my budget. I even got laughed at a few times for trying to have a modest wedding. Enter Shanna and Ashley with Created Memories Event Planning. Not only were they willing to work with my budget, but they were friendly and communicative every step of the way. They also thought of *everything* and the wedding... it was beautiful. It went off without any hitches (okay, I forgot my vow book at the airbnb- but that wasn't their fault!). Truly, I want an excuse to have any party near Jacksonville/South GA again just to hire these beautiful ladies. I cannot recommend them enough!! For more of a breakdown: - They were willing to connect me with resources of their own for decor or even getting specialty items commissioned (our guest "book" is a BEAUTIFUL one-of-a-kind design that I and Shanna's friend worked together to design, with little tokens that people signed and dropped into a little display holder). - They kept in touch every step of the way and were incredibly responsive - especially for someone who likes to text their thoughts, like me, this was easily the best perk of their company. - They of course coordinated with the vendors - including timing and ensuring all things were ready and accounted for as we needed them to be. We had a beach wedding, and having them coordinate the chair vendors and also set up the arch and decor along the aisle was all done seamlessly. At the end of the day, I'm someone who really does not like to stress, so Created Memories removed 95% of the stress of planning a wedding for me, and made the whole process even fun! Thank you ladies SO much again!!”

“Maddy was absolutely INCREDIBLE. From the moment we connected with her, we knew she was it. I had searched high and low for months, after seeing so many washed out, boring photos - Maddy's photography was an absolute breath of fresh air. Her work was full of life, love, energy, emotion and beautiful colors; which I knew was exactly what I wanted! Once Maddy spoke with us on the phone, she felt familiar and comfortable, like an old friend, to which she TRULY did become someone we can consider a friend. Maddy was there for us with whatever we needed through the entire planning process... She is impeccable with her communication, and whether it was questions, moral support, or just a lighthearted pick me up - she ALWAYS was there for us. Her process was also very easy, straightforward, and her questionnaires and blog posts cover everything your and your spouse might need to know! Leading up to our day, we didn't get to physically MEET Maddy until the day of our wedding, to which she showed up obviously completely over-prepared (which my Type A appreciates beyond a reasonable doubt), excited, and ready to go with us! The INCREDIBLY warm hug she gave both of us just reinforced what we already knew - she was meant to be with us on our big day! Maddy kept us laughing, happy, AND she ran THE BEST interference lol. She is a great reader of emotions, situations, and even pulled me (Alex) aside at one point to have a cool down outside because she knew I was a bit overwhelmed by my family. Through the ceremony and reception Maddy and her assistant were GREAT! We got SO many compliments about both of them from our guests - noting that they were SUPER stealth when they needed a shot! Maddy also has an incredible eye, and her vision for photos is next level... She was able to direct us through everything and if you need yourself a hype girl - OH SHE IS IT!!! She’s also an absolute BOSS and will take control of a situation *if need be,* which was also important to us.. She made group/family/bridal party photos quick and painless which was SO needed, and also got a TON of fun shots through the night! Seeing our shots come to life was spectacular, and when she sent us the sneak peaks we were absolutely FLOORED.... And then seeing our full gallery!? Stunning. Just truly extraordinary. We cannot stop staring at our wedding photos. We share them any chance we get, and so many of our friends and family have asked us how they could use Maddy for their photography needs. Anyone we show our photos to is absolutely taken aback by them, and truly, I think the relationship we created with Maddy shows through in our photos. Mikayla created a photography timeline which was very helpful and then only thing I need to share with her was the timeline that the DJ and the carter had. Mikayla came to the rehearsal so that she can see the area so that she was prepared for the wedding day. Mikayla stayed in contact with me throughout the whole process so she was available if I had any questions. Mikayla was open to any ideas that I had for photos. The day of the wedding, Mikayla made everything run smoothly when it came to the photos after the ceremony. When my husband and I said that we were hungry she had her second photographer run back in to grab us some appetizers.
