Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

5.0

Oklahoma City, OK
  • Serves Pleasant Hill, OH

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.8

Lafayette, LA
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Pleasant Hill, OH

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

We got married in June in NC and the average temp the week of our wedding was in the mid 90s - so hot! I saw a lot of other brides in local groups worried about how their flowers would look / handle the weather but that thought never crossed my mind. I rented my flowers from SBB and it was amazing. They shipped right to my wedding planners home a few days ahead of the wedding and although the boxes were pretty beat up the flowers were perfect. On the day she set them up and they looked wonderful - my only regret is that I didn't get my bouquet or my grooms flowers from them. I got them from a local florist and they were a huge disappointment. If I ever host another event in the US I will 100% be using SBB for the floral!

When I say I am obsessed, I truly mean it. Between working with me to find the perfect color combination, and incorporating the flowers I wanted I was in awe with how they all came out. Plus the personal touch of the word bloom, with the lyrics to our first dance song made not only me tear up, but many of my guests and family were blown away by that piece too. Would HIGHLY recommend and have been recommending to anyone who is looking for another personal touch and beautiful keep sakes

Alison with Bloom Culture really puts SO much work into making the DIY process as easy as possible! Her YouTube videos and DIY proposal guides are extremely detailed, and it was honestly a blast to put together my own florals for my wedding. I got a group of friends together and we all built the bouquets/boutonnieres/etc two days before the wedding, and it was so much fun! I got to make everything exactly the way I envisioned, and the flowers turned out sooooo beautiful! Such a great experience!

I contacted Katie 5 years ago to order a custom bouquet and boutonniere for my literary themed wedding that took place in the KC Public Library. From the first conversation I knew I had made the right choice. Katie was communicative, enthusiastic, and lovely during the entire exchange. I still have my flowers displayed in my home and they’re a beautiful memento of such a special day!

Flowers are one of a kind, and so are your wedding florals! I am an Ohio based florist that strives to make your unique vision come to life with beautiful blooms to add to the beauty of your special day. I am a sucker for color, texture and creative ideas when it comes to flowers!

We used Kiwi Blooms for our wedding in November. She met with me and gave me a lot of creative ideas to help me build my plan. She thought through different colors and textures to make a truly spectacular bridal bouquet. She worked with my budget and talked me through all the options. She took time to understand my preferences and style and made flowers that were beautiful but really felt like me! She is so creative and resourceful and brings surprising combinations together with unique and stunning results. The day of our wedding, she made delivery easy and worry free. She was kind, thoughtful, and so supportive through all the stress of making the decisions. I would highly recommend Kiwi Blooms for any event or special occasion where you need floral designs!

Our chief florist worked as florist at several large scale flower shops, and has several years of experience with wedding and event florals. She is undoubtedly the flower mastermind. Our business manager/support florist handles most of the behind the scenes tasks and artistic aspects of our business. Together we are dedicated to our brides and grooms. We work directly with you to make sure you are getting the perfect florals that make your Pinterest boards proud! We would be thrilled to work with you, so why don't you visit our website and give us a buzz?!

I was in love with the flowers they picked out for my wedding. They made it super easy to connect with, and provided a flower portfolio with pictures to give you an idea of what the bouquets and boutonnieres would looks like. Very easy to communicate with and was willing to adjust anything if I didn't like anything. They were so good, that I loved all the choices they recommended based on my original request that I didn't even need to change a thing. Price was affordable as well and the ease of having them drop off at the venue made it less stressful as well. Thank you for everything!
