Designed by renowned architect John Galen Howard and originally opened in the fall of 1923, Memorial Stadium underwent seismic renovations in Dec. 2010 to bring the facility up to modern standards - all while maintaining the architecture and character of the celebrated structure. Neighboring a plush wall of pine trees in the Berkeley Hills to the east, with a million-dollar panoramic view of the San Francisco Bay Area to the west and stunning sights of the Richmond Bridge, the Bay Bridge and the famed Golden Gate Bridge! The Oakland Scottish Rite Center was completed in 1927, with over a thousand craftsmen working on the project. The construction cost was approximately $1.5 million. This was a sizeable sum at the time equivalent to about $22 million today. From ground breaking to completion the edifice was erected in just two years. This is the second temple in Oakland built from the ground up by the Scottish Rite Masonic fraternity since 1883, when it was first chartered in Oakland.

IMAGINE YOUR EVENT AT DI ROSA... di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art occupies 217 acres of the original 465 acres of land purchased by Rene di Rosa in 1960. Located in the scenic Carneros Region at the south end of the Napa Valley, di Rosa opened to the public in 1997 as part of Rene di Rosa's vision for an “art park” accessible to the greater public, the property now encompasses multiple galleries, a lush courtyard, and a sculpture meadow that are all protected in perpetuity under the Napa County Land Trust.  di Rosa is pleased to hold private events on the property, including corporate events, retreats, meetings, birthdays, and private rentals.
