Filmmaking gave me the chance to express myself, while capturing once in a lifetime moments. I had once again fallen in love with storytelling. It’s never JUST a photo or video clip. It’s real people, real emotion, seen through a perspective that otherwise wouldn’t exist.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN) and a Master of Music from the Longy School of Music (Cambridge, MA). In addition to making and teaching music, Karen also enjoys English, Baroque, vintage and folk dance.
