The building is steeped in history and reflected in the original wood moldings, hand carved mahogany staircase, and mercer tiled fireplaces. Each of our 16 guest rooms was designed to have a look and feel that is entirely unique from the rest. The vibe is intimate, cozy, and warm. As you make your way west towards the Bank st. entrance there is a subtle transition with a bespoke feel that is modern and bright. The building that houses the Club was originally built in 1928 by The Women’s Club of Allentown. It was later purchased by The Bar Association of Lehigh County in 1991, where it underwent extensive renovations to restore it to its original grandeur. In 2008 the building underwent a $250,000 renovation to once again update the facility with new carpet, hardwood floors, audio/visual, upgraded kitchen appliances, fresh paint, a new bar, resurfaced parking lot and the creation of an intimate garden in the rear of the building for outdoor intimate affairs. Today, the building currently houses the offices for The Bar Association of Lehigh County and is available to the general public to be rented for special events.
