While outdoor locations can accommodate 170 guests or more depending on the location, in the event of inclement weather, it should be noted that the maximum capacity for covered ceremonies is 125, and for indoor events, it is 100.

The property where the church is located was purchased in May of 1886 as the First Ave Methodist - Episcopal Church. The bell tower was donated and built in 1888, with a bell brought from a foundry in Boston.
