My husband and I hosted our wedding ceremony and reception here in November 2024 and it was the BEST experience I could've asked for! I was planning our wedding from out-of-state in Colorado, but I was confident in my ability to plan this solo, as I was an event planner for a private Lincoln country club for a while (planning or overseeing about 50 events in a year on average). I knew what I wanted, was super confident in my DIY abilities, knew who I wanted to hire for entertainment, etc. etc. etc. When we were shopping for venues, I didn’t think a great venue manager was super important for me, as I didn’t expect I’d need much guidance. HOWEVER - as soon as I met Summer, the events manager of Founders, I was BLOWN away. As someone who has worked extensively in the hospitality industry, I immediately recognized her dedication to her job and knew I’d be in excellent hands during the planning process as well as during the event. Someone who has such dedication to their job as Summer does is extremely hard to find and that’s what sold me on the venue - not to mention the venue itself is gorgeous, didn’t need much to make it look fabulous, and came with FANTASTIC catering. Summer handled me with ease (lol micromanager over here!), took all of my requests with stride during the planning, and was great to communicate with. Unless there was an extenuating (and totally understandable) circumstance, Summer was extremely quick in responding to my lengthy emails or my last minute texts and was ON IT during our FaceTime planning calls - which we used to plan from a distance. On the day of our wedding, I had full confidence that everything would be taken care of, and it surely was. Summer is accountable, straight to the point, and extremely talented and wise in her position. Founders One Nine would not be the same without her - anyone reading this…please take my recommendation of working with Summer in the beautiful venue of Founders. You will not be disappointed!
