The Captain Morse House has one of Edgartown’s largest backyards. It is almost four feet above the street grade which allows for great views down Morse St. to the harbor and west for the sunset. Nauticus Marina was built in 1985, as one of the home bases for building/training of the American3, leading to victory of the America’s Cup in 1992. A few years after the win, the Marina was turned into a rental dock for boat lovers/owners everywhere. Eventually knowing the amazing space was being underutilized, it was finally opened to weddings and events to the public. Today we offer exclusive use of our venue for your special event including, but not limited to, weddings, brunches, birthday parties, fundraisers etc.
