“Cliona was SO helpful on our big day (5/31/25) as well as the weeks leading up to our wedding! She knew all the questions to ask our venue, catering, and other vendors. She joined our final calls with our venue to make sure we were all on the same page. She helped create a reasonable timeline and made sure we, and our vendors, stayed to it. She also solved any issue that came up on the day of and prioritized making sure we had a great time. She also made sure we had some moments of privacy to ourselves, which was amazing. Cliona was such a calming and reassuring presence throughout our wedding planning and on the day of. We truly can’t recommend her enough! Even when it was pouring rain, and the wind was blowing 30mph right before the ceremony, she had us calm, relaxed, and excited for our outdoor wedding. And she was right, the sun came out just in time! She had our guests and family organized perfectly for the ceremony and processional, so all my husband and I had to do was walk and take in the moment. At the end of the night Cliona and her team made sure all of our belongings, decor, flowers, cake, and gifts made it home, and my husband I were free to jump on the trolley to the afterparty with our friends. priceless!! “OceanCliff Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we reached out, the staff, especially Alison and Taylor, were incredibly responsive and great listeners as we planned our special day. The venue itself is open, stunning water views, breath taking sunsets and beautifully appointed with fireplaces that created a warm and cozy atmosphere. We got married last month, January, and our guest could not stop telling us how much they loved the fireplaces and views. I chose this venue because of the fireplace, views, and chandeliers. I scheduled our ceremony during the sun set and it was more than I could have ever expected. The food was amazing, and the entire team worked efficiently to ensure our wedding day went off without a hitch. I did add the clam chowder and clam cakes to our cocktail hour and all the guests have raved about how good the clam cakes were! In my opinion they are better than Iggy’s. Yes, I said that! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate our marriage. I highly recommend doing the ceremony and taking pictures during the sunset! We highly recommend OceanCliff Hotel to any couple looking for a stunning backdrop and attentive service for their wedding. Pick this venue now! This is your sign! :)”

“Please just book Regatta Place for your Newport wedding!! We got married here in August, and it was truly the best day we could have imagined. All of our guests raved about how unique and gorgeous the venue was, but that's not even the main reason to book them. The team is OUTSTANDING and their professionalism and attention to detail made our day run so smoothly. We didn't have a planner, and honestly with the team at Regatta Place, we didn't need one. They answered every question, helped us coordinate everything from menu selection to day-of timeline and details, and on the day of the wedding, Emily and Maggie took care of everything seamlessly. The food is also incredible. We don't typically notice or care all that much about food at weddings, but Regatta Place blew us away. All of our guests kept commenting on how good the food was (even our hard-to-please foodie guests). The team was also incredible about accommodating allergies and dietary restrictions, with some of our gluten/dairy-free guests commenting on how they felt so much more well-taken care of than at other weddings where it feels like more of an afterthought. Finally, our favorite part of the night was the party! A band on the Regatta Place dance floor is so much more fun than a generic ballroom, and the patio at night, with the string lights and the couches overlooking the water, is just magical. Our dance floor was an absolute blast, and a huge part of that was the vibe of the venue. I will also say, with rain in the forecast up until the day of the wedding, I was nervous. But the team had such a good plan in place in case of rain, and in my opinion, Regatta Place has the best rain plan in Newport; instead of moving your ceremony indoors to a plain ballroom, they just close the sides of the tents, and you still get the on-the-water Newport experience. Do NOT let the possibility of rain stop you from booking this place! A couple of our guests put it best -- a wedding at Regatta Place feels fun and loose, yet organized and thoughtfully curated. It's the perfect way to showcase the beauty of Newport, while giving your guests a top-tier experience. We seriously can't recommend it enough!!”
