“Madison photographed my destination wedding in Antigua in June of 2024 and I could not have asked for a better photographer! We had a unique request for only candid photos throughout our three nights of events (we wanted the only posed photos to be quick group shots with family and friends right after our ceremony). She was so excited by the idea and over-delivered on all our wishes. She captured so many candid moments of my husband and me, of us celebrating with our dearest friends and family, and special moments of our guests that we hadn't gotten to see. The photos came out so beautifully, it's hard to believe they were truly candid and unplanned. It was such a gift to have these memories preserved; going through our wedding albums was like re-living all three days because she captured us in the middle of the memories as we made them. She has such an incredible talent and ability to capture the essence of each person she photographs. The lighting and aesthetic of the photos was also exactly as I had hoped, and each stage of each event was captured beautifully so that it transports us right back. We also wanted Madison to be a part of our celebration, and every single guest who interacted with her had the most gushing, glowing things to say about how lovely she is. We chose Collection 3, but they were incredibly flexible and helped us tailor the package with add-ons that made the most sense for our day. They genuinely worked with us to customize everything — and their pricing felt super reasonable compared to other quotes I saw in the area. You get so much for what you’re spending. From the start, they were collaborative and professional. The planning call was especially helpful — they worked with our coordinator to walk through the weekend and offered thoughtful recommendations for coverage based on the flow of events. It made the day feel effortless. On the day itself, Jackie, Drew, and their fantastic team were absolutely wonderful. Somehow, on what felt like the fastest day of our lives, they managed to slow time down and get every shot without ever making us feel rushed. We got to take photos all over, and it never felt chaotic. Their attitude and energy were unmatched. We held our ceremony outdoors in January — in Massachusetts — and it was 15 degrees. They handled it with a smile and so much grace. Every shot we wanted (and even the ones we didn’t think to ask for) was captured. They were organized, efficient, kind, and made it all feel so smooth. Something important to know: these are seasoned pros with a full calendar of weddings, so while the final results might take a bit of time, it’s never unreasonable — and so worth the wait. “From the first moment I sent Abby an inquiry and she wrote back so promptly and sweet I just knew she’s who I wanted to go with. I am NOT a planner so without her my wedding would’ve been absolute chaos with no one knowing what to do, I’m honestly not sure how she had everything run so smoothly because I gave her the bare minimum to work with just saying (I don’t know) to half her questions and she always came back with “no problem we can go back to it or I can come up with a plan”.. so basically 95% of the timeline was all of her suggestions and her and I am SO THANKFUL for that because our day was seriously the most magical, amazing, so much love, if there were any mishaps which I’m sure there were .. (I still don’t know.. because ABBY was on top of everything and smiling through it all and always checking in on Nick and I) my vendors LOVED her , our families couldn’t stop talking about her, & we still keep telling people who tell us it was the greatest wedding of all time that we owe so much to Abby.. because we do! From the moment we reached out, the staff, especially Alison and Taylor, were incredibly responsive and great listeners as we planned our special day. The venue itself is open, stunning water views, breath taking sunsets and beautifully appointed with fireplaces that created a warm and cozy atmosphere. We got married last month, January, and our guest could not stop telling us how much they loved the fireplaces and views. I chose this venue because of the fireplace, views, and chandeliers. I scheduled our ceremony during the sun set and it was more than I could have ever expected. The food was amazing, and the entire team worked efficiently to ensure our wedding day went off without a hitch. I did add the clam chowder and clam cakes to our cocktail hour and all the guests have raved about how good the clam cakes were! In my opinion they are better than Iggy’s. Yes, I said that! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate our marriage. I highly recommend doing the ceremony and taking pictures during the sunset! We used her for all three and could not be happier - not only did we end up with the most incredible photos that we will cherish forever, but we gained such beautiful, fun, memories working with her that will always hold a special place in our hearts. Hedi is extremely talented at capturing your love and bond with ease, and she has such a warm, kind, and infectious energy that makes you feel comfortable from your first picture with her. As a reference - we had worked with another photographer before that did not have this touch, and the photos came out very stoic and awkward as a result. Over 1000 photos from Hedi later and not one awkward one - each one was so full of life and beauty that it instantly transports you back to the moment and makes you smile! From our very first meeting, Hedi was incredibly organized, meticulously detail- oriented, and thoughtful. Hedi has a warm and approachable demeanor, but she knows how to maintain authority amongst what can be crazy family dynamics, keep on track, and expertly adhere to deadlines, ensuring everything ran smoothly, which was especially important and crucial on our wedding day. Beyond her incredible photography talent, Hedi helped take on extra responsibilities that eased the burden on our bridal party, family, and planner. Everyone at our event loved her personality, enthusiasm, and complimented her amazing work ethic and professionalism. Hedi did absolutely everything in her power to make our day as special as possible, and we are so honored and grateful to have had her as our photographer. “From day one Regatta Place was the best! From Susanne helping us find the perfect venue within the Newport Experience Group, to Maggie & Maggie helping us along the way and on our wedding day. Even with COVID they were amazing; they kept us informed as to the ever changing state-mandated regulations and let us know how they were adapting to comply with the new rules. On the day of the wedding I had zero stress because everything had been going so smoothly that I had no worries about anything. They helped with the flow of the evening and made sure that my husband and I were well taken care of. Additionally, I heard from several guests how impressed they were with the safety precautions Regatta Place had taken for COVID and how safe/comfortable they felt that they ended up staying longer than they had planned to. “My husband and I were married on 5/10/2025 and it was the greatest day of our lives and a big part of that was thanks to Joe and the Hudson Horns. Joe is easy to work with and extremely accommodating. We threw varying music tastes at him and requested to have him mix in Croatian music for our family and they knocked it out of the park. Joe truly has a gift. There was a perfect blend of music to keep people of all ages on the dance floor and it’s not the typical wedding music you’re used to. It was so refreshing to have a variety of different music rather than the same thing you hear at every wedding. From the time the dance floor opened, there was not a single person in their seats the whole time. Joe and the horns helped keep the energy high and everyone dancing. It’s been a month and we are still hearing from all of our guests about how good the music selection was and how they couldn’t get enough of the horns. Look no further and book Joe for your event- you won’t regret it. Also, highly recommend, getting the 4 piece horns to work alongside Joe. Separately Joe is fantastic and the horns are fantastic but together it is an experience like non-other.”

“The Bohlin was the perfect venue for our wedding day. We got married in a nearby church and had the cocktail hour and reception at the Bohlin. The planning team was so professional and easy to work with from day one. I had multiple phone calls before signing the contract essentially going line-by-line to make sure I fully knew and understood what was and was not included (would recommend doing this with any venue). Although the minimums are pretty steep, the high-quality inclusions and mostly all-in-one package made it completely worth it. The venue can speak for itself! It is a gorgeous waterfront hidden in the heart of downtown Newport. One of our priorities was easy logistics for our guests and this was a perfect location for that. Our other priority was good food and let me tell you, Newport Restaurant Group is top notch. Our guests raved for weeks about the quality of the food. The last thing I'll highlight is how personalized it felt throughout the wedding planning process. The whole time it felt like ours was the only wedding they were planning during a peak month of June. We are thrilled we chose The Bohlin for our special day.”
