I'm originally from a small town outside of Syracuse, New York, and moved to NYC when I was 18 to study photography at the School of Visual Arts. Photography has been my way of understanding the world since I was young; I was given my late father's old 35mm camera as a child, with my first experiences of image-making learned through his old notes and manuals. I was hired to photograph my first weddings in high school, documenting friends parents and family members weddings, and then eventually my own friends.
