Something Borrowed Blooms was the best wedding decision we made. No one could believe they were silk. The cost is guaranteed and you know exactly what you’re getting. We were able to set up our venue the day before the wedding (including the flowers) and not have to worry about a florist arriving and taking our chances with it not looking the way we wanted it to. Could not recommend SBB more!!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (78 reviews)
Oklahoma City, OK
  • Starts at $350

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

I used the Full Monty package for my wedding. Flowers were something I wasn’t looking to spend 10-12k on. Through my calls with the flower moxie team they clearly and efficiently helped me stay within budget and provide my dream florals. I began my arrangements on Friday and transported them 1 and a half hours away and had very very minimal flower loss. My bridesmaids and I made our bouquets the night before and what a beautiful memory. I would recommend flower moxie for anyone looking for a fun diy, beautiful flowers, and budget friendly items.

Woodland Floral Design Co.
Rating: 5.0 (77 reviews)
Biglerville, PA

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Poppy was just what I wanted for our wedding! I very quickly and easily found the flowers I loved and wanted and it was all online or over the phone! Anna, the floral expert assigned to our order, was very responsive and when we had our meeting with her, she was very helpful in making sure we were ordering exactly what we wanted. I absolutely loved the blush traditional bouquet for me and my bridesmaids and the blush romantic garden flower clouds. The clouds were PERFECT to top each of the wine barrels that served as our altar. We were complimented a lot on the clouds. Overall, could not have been happier with Poppy. The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

The bouquets were absolutely beautiful and fit my vision exactly! All of the flowers and decor complemented the venue perfectly and was exactly what I was looking for. Kate was great to work with, from the initial communication and planning to making several adjustments to our plan over time to sending a preview of the bouquet. We were also able to visit her studio in person and rent candles which was a huge help. Overall working with Kate was so easy and stress free and she really has a knack for bringing a vision to life! Thank you!

I used Heather for our chuppah rental for my wedding at Windham Manor. I saw her brown bark chuppah on Instagram and immediately knew I had to have it. Heather was amazing to work with and the result was absolutely stunning! I am so in love with how it turned out. She even helped me customize the wooden platform from another one of her rentals to work with our chuppah and give me the exact vision I wanted. She was also super flexible. I was slow to decide which location at the venue I wanted the ceremony at and she did not rush me at all. I ended up wanting the ceremony on the grass and the venue said the chuppah would have to be taken down the same night if we were to be allowed to do this. Of course Heather said this would be no problem at all and was immediately willing to stay and do this for us. They day of our wedding ended up being a bit crazy with on and off rain but Heather was totally calm and go with the flow while the planner worked on making the rain decision. She also attached a family tallis to the top of the chuppah and it stayed perfectly, despite the not ideal weather conditions. Highly recommend working with Heather!!!

Working with Glitzed Events for our wedding flowers was a dream. From the moment we met with Nicole, it felt like talking to a friend who just happened to be a floral genius. She was responsive, professional, and so helpful throughout the entire process. Nicole's communication was always timely, and she was a true creative problem-solver - like when our seating chart cracked the day of, and she quickly found a way to cover it up with leftover flower pieces. The quality of Glitzed Events' work was outstanding; Nicole is clearly a hard-working, talented florist. The floral mockup she created to get our approval was beautiful, and the final product on our wedding day exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Glitzed Events to any couple looking for a dedicated, skilled wedding florist.

The Flower Kitten was an amazing florist for our wedding day. From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive, quick to answer any questions, and provided detailed information about their services. The quality of their work was truly stunning - the beautiful arch floral arrangement, the gorgeous bridal bouquet, and all the other items they created for our wedding party were high-quality and breathtaking. About wedding florists

How much do wedding bouquets cost?

Wedding bouquets vary in cost by bouquet size, quantity and density of blooms, season, and flower type. Your wedding location and cost of living will also have an impact. In general, you can expect to pay $200–$400 for a larger main bouquet, and $100–$250 for smaller wedding party bouquets. Communicate openly with your florist about your budget and vision—colors and inspirational photos are often more helpful to your florist than specific types of flowers.

How can we save money on our wedding flowers?

Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. Talk openly with your florist about the look you want to achieve, rather than specific flowers you want. They can suggest flower species and options to make your vision happen in a way that fits your budget.
