Ironclad Brewery

5.0

Wilmington, NC
  • Up to 250 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor

Since 2015, our brewery has been the perfect backdrop for hundreds of events including weddings, charity events, corporate functions, business networking and social celebrations! Ironclad Brewery is located in an historic building dating back to 1925 in Downtown Wilmington. The building was completely renovated in 2014, but we've maintained much of the character and integrity of the original building. Our brewers hand forge a wide range of craft beer and hard seltzers, using only the best ingredients available. In addition to our craft beer and seltzer creations, we also serve cider, wine, and spirits.

Ironclad was the absolute perfect place to host our wedding! Rachel and the entire staff made everything so easy and the space worked perfectly for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. The price was all inclusive- to include the venue, the staff, and open bar for our guests for a designated amount of time and ended up being cheaper than it would have been had we purchased all the elements separately, and with the convenience of having everything (and everyone) under one roof! The ambience was exactly what we were looking for: rustic, yet dreamy- with twinkle lights everywhere. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to say “I do”!

Located beside the Noisette Creek at Holy City Brewing, The Porter Room offers a unique venue unlike any other in the Charleston area. On the other side of the building, sliding glass doors open up to a large patio area that has the option to be tented. This space is fully equipped with an open dance floor, surround sound speakers, a catering kitchen, and a full bar with up to 8 Holy City Craft taps. The venue provides all bar glassware as well as table and chair seating for up to 100 guests at no additional cost. Just 10 minutes from historic downtown Charleston and walking distance to Park Circle’s restaurants, bars and shops, this beautifully versatile marsh front location provides the perfect setting for your special day.

So much greenery and nature to enjoy while having a rustic venue! Very down to earth folks, so nice and accommodating to work with. Only docked some points for email communications which were sometimes missed, so when booking I'd say just make direct phone calls or plan to meet with the venue team in person once or twice and you're GOLDEN! My mother was concerned about wines which would be available at venue and they set up a whole wine tasting for her to ensure they provided wines she liked! They are now partnered with artists to provide beautiful local art for your event - however we have a family artist and they allowed us to hang my great-grandfathers art works for the event! It was the most incredible day and this venue was the platform for it all!
