We could not recommend Logan more! He played all of our “must have” songs (at the perfect times) and avoided all our “do not plays.” More importantly, he spent time with us before our wedding to understand exactly what we wanted, and all of the music he played matched our likes and dislikes and perfectly fit the moment for each part of the wedding. Most of our guests never left the dance floor, and awesome DJing definitely set the tone for an amazing and fun party. We felt that Logan was a real partner and expertly tailored his work to us. Not to mention just how responsive and easy he was to work with, which was really appreciated given how much else we had going on in planning the event. Truly a great experience with Perfect Cadence!

We hired Brian and Veiled Rose to film our entire wedding day. After looking at a number of other vendors, we choose to go with Brian because he offered a quality product at a reasonable price. We were pleased to find out after booking that he also provided streaming of the ceremony as an add on for a nominal fee. This worked out better than expected--so many of our family and friends who couldn't make it not only joined us online but were also able to leave us well wishes using the guest book feature on the platform. Brian reviewed our day-of timeline to make sure we had enough coverage in terms of his time for all the important moments. Even though, he was the only person filming, he used the second, stationary camera so effectively, it looks like he had an assistant. This helped save us money while still delivering a high-quality finished product. We loved the final videos (full video edited version, YouTube trailer and TikTok/Instagram Trailer). I especially loved the way he captured the details of our venue, my dress in motion, and small, unplanned but fun and special moments between us that could have easily been missed. In the full video he did a split screen during our toasts so we would not only remember our friends as they shared their love and blessings for our marriage, but we could also see our reactions to each of them and to each other. This was unexpected but one of my favorite parts among so many others moments he captured. Friends have told us how amazing our video trailers are and that they've watched them several times. So pleased and highly recommend Brian and Veiled Rose Films.

Mer·ri·ment: lighthearted gaiety or fun-making We love the term "fun-making" especially in the context of a wedding day. Weddings are a celebration! Your film should bottle that energy. Shake for timeless fun. This is who we are. We love a good party.

Truly had a great experience with these guys. The product they deliver is true quality, and really captured the special things of our day. They were very easy to work with and I definitely would recommend them.

Artistic Emotional Cinema. Dream Images. I am an innovator, and highly motivated. My experience with cinema camera, lenses, Steadicam stabilizer, audio, and lighting allows me to confidently and enthusiastically create exciting real life motion pictures, starring YOU. I will be open and honest with you, and quickly show you what I can bring to your special day. Let me know exactly what you want, and I will work consistently with you to provide it. My goal is to create movies and videos which are authentically you.

Bruce gave us exactly what we asked for and the entire experience was easy and seamless especially compared to most wedding vendors. We wanted more documentary style footage, which he provided us throughout the full night, as well as some beautiful video editing for key moments. Bruce captured everything and you never even knew he was there, worked well with the photographer and is nothing but professional. Bonus, the prices are incredible reasonable.

Meg Simone Wedding Films

My films are memorable, engaging & genuine. I’ve had the opportunity to be on this filming adventure for twenty years, collaborating with families and couples to document and create compelling family heirlooms while preserving the guest experience. I weave together sound and moving pictures in a timeless, relatable way, and can make even the most camera-wary feel at ease.

We've been privileged to know Meg Simone for a number of years and always heartily recommend her and Mountain Love Films to our Hardy Farm Couples. In addition to her spectacular videography being technically second to none, Meg is a pure joy to work with! She has a wonderful easy way about her and can essentially be "invisible" while she works her video magic yet she also puts everyone at ease and does wonderful with interviews of wedding party members and event attendees to add another whole intimate dimension to event memories. We can't recommend Meg and Mountain Love Films highly enough!

Margo Sees Stars

5.0

Woodstock, NY
  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $4,900
  • Serves Montpelier, VT for additional fees

Hi! I’m Julia, middle name Margo, a film school dropout and music buff who wants to make your wedding look like art. I'm here to represent diversity in the couples I work with and weddings I shoot (love is love), to give you something hyper-shareable that will instantly transport you in space and time for the rest of your lives, and to make you cry upon watching. The crying is very important. Bear with me on this analogy, but basically I like my wedding films like I like my salads: raw, organic, a little bit of quirk and flare, and consumed alongside great music. If this sound pretty good to you, have a look at my work and get in touch!

If you want your wedding day to be captured like an art piece, like an actual movie or magical music video, hire Julia. I cannot recommend Margo Sees Stars enough! I knew I wanted a video of our big day because A) my memory (for the little details) sucks and B) I knew seeing the movement and all the sweet in-between moments in live footage would be so much more meaningful to me than just still photography. But I also am not drawn to super traditional sappy wedding video treatments. Julia took it to another level. I don't remember how I found her but she was the first vendor I booked and it was an A move and worth absolutely every penny. I fell in love with her Wes Anderson style, her eye for minimalism and fun candid moments, her editing and music choices. I felt such joy watching her videos of other peoples weddings, I couldn't imagine how good I would feel watching my own in her beautifully unique film style. Cut to my wedding day, not that this is totally mandatory but she was a complete fly on the wall. Obviously I was a bit preoccupied but I barely remember seeing her there, to the point that later on I was worried she may not have captured enough of the day because WHERE WAS SHE?! But she caught EVERY moment. Moments I was too anxious to pay attention to, or wasn't present for, or was having too much fun to remember. But I'm SO happy to be able to see them in the final video. It was 100x more than I dreamed of. Myself, my husband, our families, we all wept watching it. The music was so perfectly edited to the shots. Honestly I was anxious to pick a song without seeing the footage so I just gave her a few songs and bands I liked and the general vibe I wanted, and she completely NAILED it. She was also hugely accommodating to my editing process (I'm also a creative so I was a bit nit picky), and super communicative along the way when needed. But there was barely any need for it. You just let her do her thing and she makes absolute artistic magic. Not to mention she sends you the raw footage in an adorable package filled with Hershey's kisses and a camera-shaped USB key. I loved my wedding day but the moments are so fleeting, it goes by so quickly and then its gone forever, and it's lovely to have photographs of the day, but I'm telling you, having such a uniquely beautiful video art piece to watch when you want to smile really hits different. GO HIRE MARGO SEES STARS!
