DETROIT'S DESTINATION RESORT Saint John’s Resort has a rich history that begins in the late 1940s when St. John’s Provincial Seminary opened its doors, paving the way for more than 40 years of memories and learning. ​ In 2021, William Pulte Family Management purchased The Inn at St. John's from the Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit. 100% of profits from the resort go to The Pulte Family Charitable Foundation and are used to serve those most in need around the Metro Detroit area and the world. Pine Knob Mansion is situated on an elegant estate in the woodlands of Clarkston, Michigan. Unique touches include stone walls hung with swords and shields, lavish chandeliers and carved wood paneling. The Mansion’s maximum capacity is 150 guests. Built in 1927, this chic building has a more contemporary style. It has a granite-topped bar, both white and dark wood columns and crystal chandeliers. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view of the golf course. The Carriage House is our larger venue hosting up to 280 guests with it's own covered outdoor pavilion perfect for your ceremony, cocktail hour, or outdoor dancing.
