My name is Derrica and I’m 31 years old. Photography has been my passion since a child. Some days I still can't believe that I get to do this as my job. Photographs have the incredible power to make me feel happy, excited, reflective, proud, thankful, peaceful, and an abundance of love. I see something beautiful in everything and everyone. With a photojournalistic approach, my style reflects all of the emotions that your wedding day will bestow upon you and your loved ones. The main reason I choose to photograph weddings for my career is because I love the feeling of capturing a love story. There are few days in life as special as a wedding day. Having the opportunity to capture these stories through the art of wedding photography is my motivation. On top of that I absolutely love getting to know each and every couple I work with.

Born and raised in New York City, I became a people's person at a very young age. I always enjoyed seeing people laugh and smile and have a knack for getting along with just about anyone. Music was my first creative venture. I became a music studio engineer and Entertainment Business Bachelor. As a career, I initially loved working on sound for film the most, which later lead to videography. After living in Los Angeles for a few years I decided to do more in regards to film and learned Cinematography and videography editing. While living in London, my love for cinema also extended to photography.
