But I was itching to do something more with my life and I started floral design about 5 years ago and LOVED IT and decided to make a business out of it this year!! I saw 1 major flaw in the industry…pretty much all florist have a minimum you have to spend! But here I have no minimum and no maximum!! I can go as BIG or small as you want!! Woodsy Floral started by accident believe it or not. Flowers have always been a part of my husband and I’s marriage. Every Friday or every other Friday my husband, Lonnie would go get fresh stems from the floral shop down the road from our house. With crazy looks he grabbed them. This turned into me making arrangements for our events. When some of our friends saw these floral arrangements, they asked if we could make more for their events.
