The Corry house was truly the perfect venue for our big day! The girls that run it are really kind and so great at what they do. The property is stunning and so well taken care of. I had so many people tell me how beautiful it was. All the houses and cabins are really nice on the inside and all have comfortable beds. On of my favorite things about it was that we were able to have the whole property to ourselves for the whole weekend. That made things extremely convenient in a lot of ways but also ment we were able to spend a lot of down time with the people we loved most all in the same place! All in all we were extremely happy with the Corry House and would absolutely recommend!

Having our wedding at Carl House was the best decision we made. Every step of the process was seamless and enjoyable. From the first meeting, David, the owner, made us feel confident we were in good hands, and he was especially helpful in guiding us through the financial side so everything felt clear and manageable. Nicole was a fantastic planner who was always responsive and kept everything running smoothly on the wedding day. Lindy, the in-house florist, created stunning arrangements that perfectly matched our vision. The food was phenomenal, and their recommended vendors, like Posh Cakery, were excellent. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for, thanks to this incredible team!

Absolutely beautiful establishment. Gorgeously and authentically decorated. Everything in sight is picture perfect. More than enough room to accommodate my overnight guests. Pleasantly clear and straightforward with planning and logistics. Before choosing a location for our wedding, I was afraid it was going to be stressful. We appreciates their involved, thorough, and responsive communication style. The staff was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the planning process, and the set-up on the day went seamlessly. While we had to use their in house catering and florist, which required an additional tasting fee if you wanted a private tasting, the end result was a beautiful event space that was overall well worth it. The only downside was wishing there had been a bit more hands-on help with the day-of timeline and schedule, and wishing our day of coordinator had helped get some of the shots and moments we wanted on camera. But overall, Little Gardens provided an excellent value and contributed greatly to making our special day perfect. Everyone there is wonderful!

We weren’t prepared for how COMPLETE our experience was going to be with Four Oaks Manor! I mean: decor, service ware, choice of colors and accents, customized ceremony backdrop, signage, seating, setup and takedown, and so much more. Their coordinator McKenzie Julian took on so much more responsibility for us- at NO extra charge- that she was practically our wedding planer from day one. The staff, the chef, and the grounds were all beyond our expectations. We wanted an outdoor venue with a forest-vineyard-farmhouse vibe and somehow we found Four Oaks to accommodate it all. There was PLENTY of room for our 80 person event, the ceremony seating and dinner arrangements were comfortable and well-placed. We had unlimited ice included and had staff handling refills of self-serve canned alcohol. There were NO surprise fees and TONS of surprise upgrades. Choosing Four Oaks was the best decision we made besides “I do!”

We got married at The Chapel on Sycamore in April and it was everything that we had hoped for! The chapel itself is gorgeous with the dark wood interior and stained glass, and the outdoor space in the spring was perfect for everything from photos to cocktail hour gathering. We had 200 guests and the space was accommodating. Lisa was with us to coordinate our day from the very start and was incredibly prepared, responsive, timely, and helpful in answering my many questions throughout the planning process. She met me at the Chapel to visit multiple times to look at the space as I was planning the event. We used Oakhurst Market, a preferred caterer, for our food and got many compliments (and loved the food ourselves!). We loved the location in Decatur near restaurants and bars for our guests and the ease of travel and proximity to the city and it was easy to book parking for our guests nearby with Lisa's assistance. I would highly recommend The Chapel on Sycamore as an excellent wedding/event venue with lovely and helpful staff. The pictures included are by OliviaRosePhotography.

The 173 Carlyle House was the absolute perfect venue for our special day. We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception there with almost 200 guests, and their venue space and staff accommodated for us exceptionally well! My favorite thing about the Carlyle House is its flexibility and the ability to personalize decor and details for your event, as well as it's reasonable and extremely affordable pricing. Throughout the entire planning process (only 4 months), Gerise was helpful, responsive, and offered her expertise and support whenever needed. I had multiple meetings, calls, and walkthroughs to plan and finalize everything, and she was more than accommodating each time I reached out. The house itself is classy, elegant, and charming, which is exactly what I was envisioning for our wedding. The staff and catering were wonderful and we received many compliments from our guests on their service. I hope we have another reason to use them again in the future! We highly recommend the 173 Carlyle House for any special event!

Why Choose Georgia for Your Wedding?

Georgia offers idyllic backdrops with distinctive Southern charm across its diverse landscapes. You'll find places like The Wheeler House in North Georgia featuring gorgeous lakefront settings with flexible packages to suit your needs. Willow Creek Farm nestled in the North Georgia Mountains gives you flat terrain that's fully handicap accessible and a truly special ceremony spot where two creeks come together; perfect for those meaningful photos you'll treasure forever. What's great about Georgia venues is they work for just about any celebration you're planning, from those intimate gatherings with close family to grand affairs that include your entire social circle, with plenty of options that won't break your budget.

What's the Average Cost for Wedding Venues in Georgia?

Wedding venues in Georgia typically run about $6,399 which makes up roughly 14% of your total wedding budget. That's actually a pretty good deal when you compare it to the national average of $6,500-$12,000 where venues eat up about 25% of total wedding costs. Your total wedding budget in Georgia will grow as your guest list does. With 50 guests you're looking at around $19,646 while 100 guests pushes that to $32,489. Hosting 150 people? Budget about $44,564. For 200 guests expect to spend around $55,360 and for 250 you'll need approximately $66,155. Those planning a big celebration with 300 guests should set aside about $76,951. These figures help you plan realistically based on the celebration size you envision.

Which Georgia Venues Offer Outstanding Culinary Experiences?

Culinary-focused venues across Georgia deliver exceptional dining experiences your guests won't forget. Ecco in Midtown Atlanta has earned national recognition for its seasonal European cuisine with a cosmopolitan flair that food-loving couples appreciate. If Italian speaks to your heart, Pacci Italian Kitchen in Savannah serves authentic Southern Italian dishes made from the freshest ingredients that will transport you straight to the Mediterranean. Elevation Chophouse & Skybar in Kennesaw offers unique menu options prepared with fresh ingredients while Vic's on the River in Savannah provides elegant receptions with stunning views paired perfectly with refined cuisine. Seafood enthusiasts will love Lure Seafood in Midtown Atlanta famous for serving some of the city's best oceanic delights that will impress even your pickiest guests.

How Can Remote Guests Participate in Georgia Weddings?

The Foxglove in Marietta really stands out when it comes to including guests who can't attend in person. Their sophisticated technology allows remote participants to interact through synchronized lighting effects and dedicated Q&A sessions that make distance feel less significant. You can involve up to 350 remote guests in ways that go well beyond simple video streaming; they've created systems that make your distant loved ones feel truly part of your celebration with personalized touchpoints throughout the event. This approach transforms the experience from passive watching to active participation, especially meaningful for those important people who simply can't make the journey.

Where Can You Find Accessible Wedding Venues in Georgia?

Accessible venues are available throughout Georgia to ensure all your guests can celebrate comfortably. Willow Creek Farm offers fully handicap accessible facilities with flat terrain that eliminates mobility concerns. You'll find Lilly Creek Farm combines rustic charm with thoughtfully designed wheelchair-accessible facilities including private restrooms and plenty of natural light to create a welcoming environment. When you're selecting your venue, it's always best to directly confirm specific accessibility features that matter most to your guests; things like ramps, elevators, accessible parking spots and bathroom accommodations vary widely between properties even when they claim to be fully accessible.

How Far in Advance Should You Book a Georgia Wedding Venue?

Most Georgia couples start their venue search about 13 months before their wedding date with November being the busiest month for inquiries. If you've got your heart set on a popular venue, especially for weekend dates during fall or spring, you'll want to move quickly. Georgia's peak wedding seasons run April through June and September through November when the weather is most cooperative. Popular venues during these prime times often book up 12-18 months in advance so starting early gives you the best chance at securing your dream location without having to compromise on your preferred date.

What Makes Georgia Venues Unique?

Georgia venues beautifully incorporate regional culture through distinctive experiences you won't find elsewhere. Many properties lovingly preserve their architectural details while offering all the modern amenities you'd expect. You'll discover farm-to-table menus featuring Georgia peaches and Vidalia onions alongside transformed industrial spaces with locally-crafted furnishings that tell a story. What makes Georgia venues truly special is how they blend that famous Southern tradition with contemporary style, creating settings that feel both timeless and fresh.
