Hello! My name is Porsha and I’m the owner of Cake Me Away. I’m a self-taught baker and have been baking since I was in high school. I officially transitioned from a hobby baker to an official business in 2019. Since then I’ve gained many repeat clients through word of mouth about my moist and delicious made from scratch cakes. I’ve created delicious cakes for birthdays, weddings, and other special events.

Shannon Turner Cakes, a premier luxury cake design studio, specializes in creating bespoke cakes made with fresh, organic ingredients. Shannon has over two decades of baking and cake design experience, and has received training from some of the best cake designers in the world. Her work has been featured in local and regional publications. Shannon has won Best Of Georgia 2023, "Best For Bridal Bakery 2023" (Aroundabout Local Media), and more. Shannon's passion for cake design is matched only by her commitment to excellence and the highest dedication to providing a phenomenal client service experience.

I have been baking since I was 3 years old. It is my dream to own a bakery and it be my full time job. Some people paint, some people exercise, but baking is my therapy. Talk To Me Treats specializes in custom buttercream cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, and other alternative desserts for any special occasion.

I'm an experienced baker with over 10 years of experience. All of my cakes are 100% scratch, moist and delicious! I want my cakes to look good and taste even better. I love to make a clients vision come to life. No project is too little or too small for me. I also specialize in custom treats and mini desserts as well! The first location opened in January 2019 in downtown Athens at 480 North Thomas Street, this Georgia-Bulldog-loving establishment is promised to satisfy all of your sweet dreams. That’s right, you can now enjoy delicious cookie dough by the scoop and no longer worry about the possibility of getting sick. All of the ingredients are of the highest quality and 100% safe to eat raw. However, if you are somehow not able to finish your serving of cookie dough, you can take it home and bake cookies! I mean, how perfect can this possibly get?

We think of ourselves as the "Vegan Buttercream Queens" of ATL since all of our designs are vegan buttercream based! We have put lots of love and careful thought into all that we do.
