What began decades ago with a sip of Muscadine wine made from Georgia’s indigenous Muscadine grapes has evolved into Chateau Elan, a luxurious, award-winning winery and resort in the rolling hills of north Georgia. Hi bride! I'm Michele Houston Romans. I've been photographing weddings since 2013 when I started my business in college at the University of Georgia. I not only fell in love with creating beautiful images, but also with creating an incredible experience for couples as well.

I am originally from Texas, but consider Georgia home since I've been living here for nearly 30 years. I have one son that is my world. We both enjoy antiquing and visiting historic landmarks. I began shooting detail photos at events I helped setup at my family business (Off Broad Rentals & Design in Winder) and by assisting other professional photographers.

The Corry House offers unlimited parking, complete privacy, and sunsets perfect for photos. Couples can choose from a number of different locations to exchange their vows, including a picturesque meadow site and an enchanting forest site (think Edward and Bella's wedding). The Factory at Walton Mill is an all inclusive charming industrial-chic venue, located in historic cotton warehouses. Guests enter the Willow Room which is perfect for cocktail hours, small events or just as a welcoming lobby for the main event. The main event room, the Hawthorn Room, features warm wood walls and massive beams next to exposed brick with wonderful wood floors. It can host up to 250 guests for a seated reception and even more for a ceremony. Throw in an expansive gathering porch and this is the perfect spot for a rustic chic wedding.

Home of the Athens YMCA from 1889 until 1919, the original building on this site became a music store, movie house, hotel, Masonic Temple, furniture company and Sears Roebuck store before being replaced by the Elite Theatre in 1935. Except for a brief period as a Methodist church, this theatre – later renamed the Georgia Theatre – has served as a significant performance venue for emerging and established musicians from Athens and beyond. Devastated by a fire on June 19th, 2009, this historic concert hall has been rebuilt as a labor of love with reverence for the creative spirit that Athens has long embraced. With special thanks to the people of Athens and all who worked so diligently to restore her and make her better, the Georgia Theatre stands proudly reborn.
