Bates Floral Co started when we (Laurel and Charles Bates) decided to do our wedding flowers themselves! We didn't like the options or prices companies were charging, so we undertook the project of cultivating, buying, and creating our floral arrangements ourselves. Our friends loved our work so much that we started doing there weddings the following year. Hi there! I use all wood flowers for my bouquets! I created Flora Wedding Co to help couples save money but still be able to have a preserved piece of their big day! Doing floral preservation and having fresh flowers to the extent I wanted was simply not in my wedding budget. I started with wood flowers and absolutely fell in love! I hand-dye each and every flower, hand stem them and arrange them. I love working with every couple and building them their dream wedding florals that will last a lifetime.
