The Armory Events

5.0

  • Up to 200 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor

When transforming the historic Armory into the modern wedding venue it is today, every space was thoughtfully designed with the needs of the couple in mind. Our venue provides everything you need for a seamless and unforgettable wedding day—all in one location. With two getting-ready suites, two ceremony options, a dedicated cocktail hour space, and a stunning reception area, your entire event can flow effortlessly without the need to move between different venues. From the moment you arrive to the last dance of the night, everything takes place on-site, allowing you to focus on celebrating with your loved ones in a space that beautifully blends history with modern elegance.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides a dedicated team on-site
  • Handles all cleanup logistics
  • Multiple event spaces

Venue considerations

  • Limited cleanup and setup services
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Does not provide event staff
The in house team is incredible - Kasie, Kaitlin and Sarah were responsive to every question we had, providing recommendations and offering up any help needed to bring our vision to life. I love that they went above and beyond and sourced local whiskey for our specialty cocktail! Their enormous storage closet of wedding decor saved us a lot of money too. Everything will go smoothly with the Armory team at the helm - they have running events down to a science. The entire space is so beautiful that you do not need to spend on decor - it is industrial but still warm and inviting. The lighting is perfect, the sound system is flawless, and their pulley system of curtains makes for a seamless and beautiful transition between ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The lofted getting ready suite is enormous which was a huge plus: we are an LGBT couple so we had 2 brides and 20 other people eating brunch and getting ready together and we all fit. I am an event planner as my day job so I have high standards and a *lot* of opinions when it comes to events, and there's not a single thing I would have changed or done differently!

Awarded Best of Zola
Stroudsmoor is the real deal. When we got engaged, my top priority was that I did not want to be stressed on my wedding day. Leading up to the day, I knew there was a lot of work, a lot of planning, but on my actual wedding day, I wanted to take care of nothing. I wanted to be in charge of nothing. I used to work in events, and I know the depth and insanity that comes with planning an event and how hard the actual event day can be. I knew that whatever venue we picked, it would need to be as all-inclusive and simple as possible. Everything about Stroudsmoor was a dream. The entire process was seamless. They were so professional. They were upfront on costs. Any service they did not offer themselves they had a list of preferred, recommended vendors. Leading up to the wedding day, we met with our planner, Kaylie, regularly, their on-site florist, Grayson, and Gina and the whole team at the bridal salon were incredible. They walked us through everything, step-by-step. We got married at Woodsgate this summer – surrounded by the forest, it was absolutely gorgeous and everything we could have hoped for. We are so happy we chose them and we will continue to recommend them to everyone! Photography Credit: Marshall Scott Photography https://marshallscottphotography.com/

My family all booked rooms and the hotel made accommodations so everyone was close together. The food was out of this world amazing, I chose a buffet so everyone could eat as they wished and it worked perfectly. For any couple getting married I would highly recommend!
