Friendship Botanic Gardens is a unique, beautiful setting for the outdoor wedding and other special events. Weddings are scheduled from mid-May through mid-October. Fountains splash, birds sing, and trees tower above. The Gardens include over one hundred acres of woods and landscaped areas, providing one of the most beautiful outdoor venues in Northwest Indiana. The Gardens can accommodate a small and intimate wedding ceremony of a few family and friends, or a larger wedding ceremony up to 300 guests. Friendship Botanic Gardens welcomes and honors all marriages of all types. We do not discriminate against anyone. All weddings include chairs, use of the area for three hours and rehearsal privileges. Arrangements can be made for use of the Bridal Cabin and golf cart shuttle with driver to transport guests to the venue. Ceremonies and receptions will be customized by our wedding coordinator. Weddings over 400 guests can be custom designed to suit your needs.

The LEX 530 building was once the home of Pacemaker Trailer Co., one of the earliest RV companies in Elkhart. In the fall of 2018 owners Carl and Emilie Tiedemann took part of the building to create LEX 530. Our couples can count on our event director for dedication to making every event picture perfect. Our executive chef brings his incredible palate and creativity to everything he touches utilizing a licensed commercial kitchen to create anything from the perfect breakfast to an 5-course dinner using only the freshest ingredients around. LEX 530 specializes in offering unique boutique wines that our couples will not find any other place in Indiana. Carl makes his own line of boutique wines in Napa Valley and brings that wine back to Elkhart to sell at LEX 530. His numerous connections to small, independent winemakers in Napa, and around the world, allow LEX 530 access to exclusive wines. All of this will make your wedding stand out.

Chicory Event Center is a new renovated event space in downtown Mishawaka. It features a main banquet room with seating up to 250, a private dining room with seating up to 25, and a Chicory Cafe with an beautiful outside patio. The main banquet room features a beautiful bar with barn doors, coffee bar, dance floor, and a chandelier. This room is perfect for your wedding reception, class reunion, birthday party, sweet sixteen party, retirement party, business conference, or networking event. Tables, chairs, table linen, chinaware, table center pieces, set up, and clean up are all included in room rental. Our private dining room features numerous table layouts, 70 inch television, A/V equipment, and available table service. We picked the name “ Marion Magnolia Farms.” As we thought of both of our daughters and named it after them as Marion and Magnolia are their middle names.
