From its historical beginnings as a stoic munitions depot, The Armory experienced a beautiful transformation to showcase a sophisticated ballroom, classy built-in bar and impressive commercial kitchen. Original element of the 1928 Armory construction and subsequent Newman Recreations Center were incorporated into the even space renovation to provide the perfect blend of past and present.Iron-barred doors used to secure armers and thick concrete walls reinforced with brick to accommodate the National Guard Armory and shooting range lend a rustic industrial aesthetic. Wood from the recreation center bleachers line the dramatic bar and the orginial hardwood floor was dressed up to grace the ballroom. The vaulted timber ceilings and exposed truss work allow the dazzling period chandeliers an opportunity to lend an air of elegance to the urban decor. Charm abounds in the union of classic architecture with a modern flair.

Constructed in 1871 by Bavarian immigrant Philip H. Zorn Jr., Barrelhouse The Venue resides on the historic Zorn campus. As an annex to the brewery, Barrelhouse The Venue would manufacture beer barrels to house fresh beer prior to distribution around Northwest Indiana. Though unoccupied now, the original ice-house, brew-house, and malting building still stand across the street, a reminder of the dream Philip Zorn brought with him to America.

Out at the Vintage Rose Barn, one can enjoy all of the beauty mother nature has to offer and the charm of the countryside while still being easily accessible no matter what direction one is coming from. Whether it's in the bloom of the spring with blossoms of 120-year-old lilacs and daffodils to summer when the trees are a lush green with night skies filled with twinkling fireflies and falling stars, or in the fall when the colors burst into an enchanting sight. The Hopewell Barn is located about 1/2 mile south of the historic Hopewell Church. Built in 1872 and purchased by Deb in 2018, the church is listed on National Historic Register for its ties to Gene Stratton Porter. Gene was a famous author in the early 1900’s and the area of ‘Hopewell’ was used as the locale for the settings for several of her books. The name ‘Rustic Barn at Hopewell’ was selected to pay tribute to historic roots of the Hopewell area.

Blue Heron Barn is a Michigan barn wedding venue hosted in a modern and elegant restored barn. Our barn is situated on five acres bordered by the Portage Creek. The updated, historical barn is capable of hosting 200 guests. We take pride in providing a crisp, clean and professional atmosphere while also working with you to make your special day a uniquely memorable one. We host weddings for couples from Kalamazoo, Chicago, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Battle Creek and throughout West Michigan. ​

Sunrise Farms Wedding Venue sits upon a nearly two-century-old family fruit farm in Southwest Michigan. The property is a historical goldmine with a three-story barn from the late 1800s, the oldest surviving log cabin in Michigan, and a 1928 original farmhouse. It is situated on the remaining 13 acres of farmland with neighboring farms as far as the eye can see. It is lush with greenery and historic character. The well-groomed property offers a charming vintage flair and many natural backdrops.
