Constructed in 1871 by Bavarian immigrant Philip H. Zorn Jr., Barrelhouse The Venue resides on the historic Zorn campus. As an annex to the brewery, Barrelhouse The Venue would manufacture beer barrels to house fresh beer prior to distribution around Northwest Indiana. Though unoccupied now, the original ice-house, brew-house, and malting building still stand across the street, a reminder of the dream Philip Zorn brought with him to America.

The timeless mix of brick, concrete and metal emphasizing The Brick’s bold façade is complimented by an equally impressive interior. Lofty ceilings with exposed steel joists are softened by whitewashed walls and elegantly suspended Edison lights. Tall windows and functional overhead doors provide an air of stately grandeur. Built in 1928, as an Elks Temple, this property has been beautifully restored and renovated, while keeping its original character and charm. Climate-controlled for all-season events, on-site tables and Chiavari chairs are included for up to 200.
