Starting my passion of photography at the young age of ten, I fell in love with the documentary/journalistic style. When I got older, I was moved to make it into a career. I also fell in love with love itself. I saw the beauty in the gift humans feel of cherishing one another. For six years now, I have had the privilege of photographing weddings and elopements of people who feel deeply and love deeply.

I'm Zachery, the lead photographer here at Zachery Umphrey Creative. I can't tell you how many weddings I've photographed. I've captured weddings in the mountains, beach, farms, etc. Being in the wedding industry, I've come across many types of weddings such as: your traditional, quick elopements, and very high energy weddings. Hi! I’m a wedding photographer based in Charlotte, North Carolina who regularly shoots weddings all over the South. I started with wedding photography back in 2008. Sabrina and I live just outside of uptown near the NoDa Arts District. My pursuit of the arts began at an early age with many creative endeavors, most notably, drums, guitar, and a fascination with cameras. As I got out of the music business in my twenties, cameras, and photography, quickly took hold. Wedding photography allowed me to combine my love of travel, friends, and relationships all into one fantastic day.
