Located on the corner of Warren Ave. and John R St. in Midtown, the Michigan Science Center is one of several nonprofit organizations in Detroit’s cultural district. With live stage shows, an IMAX® Dome, a 4D theater, a Planetarium, an 8,700 square foot special exhibit hall, and 220+ interactive exhibits, the Science Center has a lot to offer children and adults alike. We are always looking to host new and exciting events! From strolling tastes to seated dining, our preferred caterers can do it all. Events can start with appetizers and open bar then flow into our Lunar Gallery for a meal amongst the rocket ships. Clients work directly with the caterer for food choice and payment. Detroit Sails offers a relaxing and fun experience on the Detroit River and Lake St. Clair. We provide private two hour sailing tours, engagement photo sessions, and other customized tours on the water. At Joy Manor we have 4 different ballrooms, each with their own style. You can choose which ballroom fits what you are looking for for your event. We offer many different menus ranging from Athletic Menus through Wedding Packages. We also allow people to rent and bring in their own food as well. The Italian American Club of Livonia was founded in 1977. With membership growing, a momentous decision was made in 1990 to build a new Clubhouse & Banquet facility. With then President, Tony Greco, spearheading the effort, financing was obtained and ground was broken in 1993, culminating with a Grand Opening Gala. We opened in August of 1994 with a beautiful 26,000 square foot, two level facility located on 5.21 acres of land at Five Mile Road and the I-275 Expressway in Livonia, Michigan. Serving the Metro Detroit Area in grand style, our premier facility is a wonderful venue for gatherings of all types.

Stone Chalet is a great place to have and to hold your wedding, reception and rehearsal dinner. When you rent the entire facility you'll have complete privacy and connection with your closest family and friends. Stone Chalet is only available for weddings under 100. The spaces at Stone Chalet are very flexible and each wedding party has shown us how creative people can be with the use of all the spaces. We'll be happy to share ideas and work with you on creating your day or weekend to remember.

In 1999, the Frutig family purchased a historic farm on the West side of Ann Arbor, home to two barns dating back to the 19th century. Inspired by their daughter's wedding in 2009, Kelly launched Misty Farm, offering a picturesque setting for weddings. The success of Misty Farm led Kelly to restore a neighboring farm, giving birth to The Valley. The Frutig family takes pride in preserving the history and craftsmanship of these properties, sharing their unique beauty with the community and those seeking a truly special setting for their celebrations.

The Circ Bar and Root is a gorgeous dual venue that offers an experience unlike anything else. It has rich history dating back to the 1850's where it was most likely the first brewery in Ann Arbor. This historic building combines the original wood, brick, and stone with modern elements to create a stunning industrial bar setting. Guests often begin their day enjoying the open air with a ceremony on our Roof Deck. Our Lounge, with its large windows overlooking the Roof Deck, sets the perfect scene for cocktail hour. From there, guests move into the main bar, Circ, to enjoy dinner. This space has a 30ft wrap-around bar, built-in stage, and plenty of exposed wood and brick. Once dinner wraps up, guests are in for a treat since the rest of the evening takes place in what some call, "Ann Arbor's best kept secret." Guests head downstairs to Root's stunning caverns to finish off the night with dancing, drinks, and dessert!
