Stonebridge Golf Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. I worked at Stonebridge for 6 years and met my husband there, and I wanted nothing more than to get married at the beautiful venue. The staff was very easy to communicate with - Kim was always quick to respond and available whenever we had questions (even the silliest of questions). Kim and Jeff took care of everything we needed and made sure our day was exactly how we envisioned. The venue itself is beautiful, with indoor and outdoor spaces that provided a fun, open atmosphere for our guests. The tiki bar was a big hit! Justin, the chef was able to accommodate needs and made the best Swedish meatballs! Considering all that they handled for us and the quality of the venue, Stonebridge was a great value. They provide chairs/tables, linens, table settings, and all food and beverages making it an easy one stop shop. We would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful, accommodating venue and thoughtful staff for their special day.

The Clark’s Lakeside
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)
Homer, MI
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $1,800

We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly, we began adding amenities to the property. In 2020 one of our daughters got engaged. As she began looking for a venue to host her wedding we came to realize that the perfect spot was right in front of us. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work to create a beautiful wedding venue. There are many opportunities on the property for one of a kind pictures. There are two picturesque options in front of the lake for the service and a new reception building that can seat up to 200 guests. With a 5 acre campus larger weddings can be accommodated with tent rental.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Private area for the wedding party
  • Multiple event spaces
  • Natural elegance with open spaces

Venue considerations

  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Does not allow pets
  • Additional event staff required

The Clark's Lakeside is an excellent choice for a wedding venue. The venue itself is beautiful, with spacious indoor and outdoor spaces that offer great value. As the DJ, I found their team to be very welcoming when I set up the day before the reception, and the large garage-style doors and vehicle access made the load-in and load-out process incredibly easy. The lakeside ceremony space was absolutely stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for the couple's special day. I'd highly recommend checking this space out to any couple looking for a beautiful venue!

The Milestone Barn
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Bannister, MI
  • Up to 290 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,500

The Milestone Barn is a premier rustic barn wedding venue in Michigan, located in beautiful Bannister, MI, just a short drive from Lansing, Saginaw, and Flint. Originally built for agricultural use and lovingly restored in 2011, our family-owned barn now serves as the perfect setting for barn weddings, receptions, proms, and other milestone celebrations. When the owners began planning their own rustic wedding, they discovered how difficult it could be to find an affordable, charming barn venue that truly captured that rustic Michigan feel. Their search inspired the transformation of their family barn into The Milestone Barn, a space designed to bring that same dream to life for other couples, without the high price tag. Since opening our doors in 2011, we’ve continued to grow and improve every year. We listen to feedback from our brides and grooms, updating the property and adding new features while preserving the authentic rustic charm that makes The Milestone Barn so special.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Pets can join the celebration
  • Feels like a getaway
  • Offers full flexibility in setup and decor

Venue considerations

  • Lighting and sound are not included
  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
We got married in August 2018 at The Milestone Barn and it was the wedding of our dreams! The barn and grounds are stunning. I loved everything about my wedding. Carolyn was amazing to work with and always there to answer my questions. People loved the venue so much that we talked about doing it again (minus the wedding part). You won’t regret getting married there. If you are looking for food, hotel, or someone to marry you they have recommendations!! I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
