We used Something Borrowed Blooms for part of our ceremony and reception florals, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience! We chose the Jane collection floral meadows and added in some real colorful stems to match our theme—and the result was absolutely stunning. You would never know the base florals were faux! The entire process was incredibly seamless. Receiving, setting up, and returning the flowers was so much easier than I ever expected. Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
Oklahoma City, OK
  • Starts at $350

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had an amazingly positive experience working with Flower Moxie for my daughter’s July wedding. We placed our order in February using their “How Much Should I Buy” worksheet as a guide. Their website is filled with images and videos to help you make your choices. We went with the Sweet Wildflower bridal bouquet and 4 bridesmaid bouquets and then ordered a Build Your Own Wildflower Mixed Box and Build Your Own Spray Rose Mixed Box to DIY bud vases all for just over 900! In June we decided we wanted more bud vases for our dining tables than we had originally planned to have. I spoke with Maria who helped me add more of what I’d order to meet my needs. Cost was about 150. Not knowing really what to expect, I added 4 premade centerpieces just to have which cost 280. This was SO much more cost effective than trying to work with local florists or deal with wooden flower options. The only issue we had was a UPS issue. The flowers were coming directly from a farm in Ecuador and tracking numbers showed they were held up in Miami waiting for government release. Once released, we were able to see their travels. The flower boxes ended up being delayed by 1 day. The flowers should have arrived on a Thursday for a Sunday wedding. Delivery moved to Friday. Every worried email I sent was responded to immediately by Flower Moxie. They were tracking my order, too, and were on top of it. Once they arrived, we followed the specific directions the company sends out. I have photos of the stages of hydration, watching the blooms get more and more gorgeous as the hours passed. The bridal party put the 72 bud vases together on Saturday in the hotel conference room near the wedding venue. The bridal bouquets were perfect needing nothing but trimming of the stems and wrapping stems with ribbon we had purchased. I would highly recommend working with Flower Moxie, especially if you are looking to support small business, enjoy having the option to be a little hands on (though you don’t have to choose this option), and want to save on the cost of your florals. I plan to use them in the future if the need arises.

Poppy is a full-service wedding florist with one mission: give every couple stunning floral design without the luxury-tier price tag. We design, source, and deliver your flowers from first consultation to final installation. As featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, The Today Show, Fortune, and Goop. Planning your wedding flowers should feel exciting, not overwhelming. If you've been gathering inspiration and wondering whether your budget can actually bring that vision to life — it can. That's exactly what we do.

Awarded Best of Zola
Poppy Flowers was a great choice for our wedding flowers because they worked well trying to fit our budget and gave us flexibility with our flowers. Their communication was primarily virtual which was challenging at times. Outside of our first Zoom meeting, we had to communicate using their platform which could have been more efficient. Outside of the Poppy Flowers platform, our florist Dara Cordova did an amazing job. The quality of her work was excellent - she matched our vision for the flowers perfectly. The bouquets they created were absolutely stunning, encompassing all the flower profiles and colors we had discussed. Our guests had many compliments on how beautiful the flowers looked and how well they fit the overall style and aesthetic of our wedding day. Our only hiccup was when we were told we could flip our flowers from our wedding ceremony to reception area (we had different locations) but two weeks prior, we were told that they would not transport flowers from our ceremony to reception so we had to cut down and have our planner relocate the flowers for us. We wish communication would have been more clear. It was an added stress so close to the wedding. Overall. Poppy Flowers provided great value and delivered well-executed floral arrangements that truly brought our wedding vision to life on a budget.

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Working with Misha was an absolute dream! She understood my vision and then amplified it x100 to help design the most vibrant, garden party chic floral displays ever! Walking out on my wedding day and being surrounded by beautiful flowers was amazing. Misha is so easy to communicate with and really helped take flowers completely off of my plate once she understood the vibe I was going for. She even helped me decide to do all different dresses for my bridesmaids which was so fun! She worked seamlessly with the décor and signage gal (Kelsey of Creamery Hill). Many times throughout the night, I was told that my flowers were the most gorgeous my guests have ever seen at a wedding. THANK YOU MISHA!

Four Seasons Flowers was very prompt in their responses. I was able to make an appointment with Carma to go over my wishes and photos I liked. When it came to my mock creation, we had three different centerpiece designs, Karen (the designer) was there to help tweak the flowers to look exactly how we wanted it to! The work was stunning. Our photographer was happy that we went with Four Seasons because he knew the flowers would look good and have water for the hot summer day. I guess some florist's flowers do not survive long enough for the photos, while ours were gorgeous the whole day. Their team set up and delivered my flowers smoothly all day. Not one point did I ever question if the flowers were going to be there on time. They were also very friendly. I highly recommend using them!

We had multiple floral quotes while planning our wedding, but no one stood out and understood the vision like Regan and her team. After filling out the questionnaire, Regan personally called us to go over our vision and then sent us the most beautiful proposal. She was an excellent communicator throughout the entire planning process and when the day of the wedding came along, her and her team absolutely CRUSHED it! The deconstructed arches made for the ceremony were the most beautiful things we’ve ever seen! We were literally left speechless! The colors, flower choices, set up - literally breathtaking! Our guests still talk about them too! We wanted simplicity for all of the tables, and the bud vases with the wildflowers were so elegant! Regan was able to incorporate the lace from my mom’s wedding dress into my bouquet and it was so so special! After the wedding I made a shadow box of the extra flowers given to us, and shipped out my bouquet to be pressed into a wildflower framed field design! So excited to have the piece for years and years to come! Thank you Regan for turning our vision to life and for being a part of our special day!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Annie from Annie Occasion for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From the very beginning, Annie was just as excited for our special day as we were, and her enthusiasm and support for our DIY work meant so much to us. She really took the time to understand our vision and helped us make it a reality. Annie delivered the most stunning bouquets and personal flowers that perfectly matched the vibe we wanted. The attention to detail was amazing, and the flowers brought so much beauty and life to our day. In addition to the florals, she set up gorgeous floating candle cylinders that added an elegant, romantic touch to the ambiance. We were able to rent them directly from her, which made the process so easy and stress-free. Annie’s warmth, creativity, and dedication truly made our experience wonderful. If you’re looking for a florist who is not only talented but also genuinely excited to be part of your wedding journey, we wholeheartedly recommend Annie Occasion!

    About wedding florists

How much do wedding bouquets cost?

Wedding bouquets vary in cost by bouquet size, quantity and density of blooms, season, and flower type. Your wedding location and cost of living will also have an impact. In general, you can expect to pay $200–$400 for a larger main bouquet, and $100–$250 for smaller wedding party bouquets. Communicate openly with your florist about your budget and vision—colors and inspirational photos are often more helpful to your florist than specific types of flowers.

How can we save money on our wedding flowers?

Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. Talk openly with your florist about the look you want to achieve, rather than specific flowers you want. They can suggest flower species and options to make your vision happen in a way that fits your budget.
