Founded in 2012, West Sixth Brewing is located in a 100 year old building called the Bread Box, historically used for the Rainbo Bread Factory, in Lexington, Kentucky. We brew, can and bottle our beer out of this location We pride ourselves on the craft beer we make and having a positive impact on the communities we're a part of. The Barrel Room is our private event space in the brewery that we use to store all of our barrels of wild and sour aged beers. It is a casual space, with tile floor, and walls, with seating for up to 75 people. Although it is unconditioned, usually is very comfortable in the winter. In the summer, however, it can get hot! But if you want an easy place to host a party, with the atmosphere of the brewery, that's the place to do it. This room is equipped with a private bar.

The West Sixth Farm is our 125 acre property off 127 in Franklin County. Here we have two venues: The Flat is a beautiful Kentucky farm wedding venue (holds up to 500 ppl) up at the top of the hill. We also have two canopies — one smaller and one larger covered structures with picnic tables, with the largest next to the taproom and the smaller one just a quick walk away in the shade - perfect for birthdays, friend gatherings, office parties, and more. The Taproom is only available for rent on weekdays that the Farm is closed to the public.

Built in 1940, our barn venue was originally part of a horse farm and estate. Since 2013, we have hosted hundreds of weddings. Our venue rental is all day from 8am to 2am, giving you plenty of time to celebrate. We provide the main reception space, a ceremony courtyard, a woodland ceremony area, 2 private dressing rooms, tables, chairs, tablecloths, kitchen, spacious restrooms, and nearby lodging.

Come and see one of the few remaining street-running train tracks in the entire country! It is a unique experience to watch the freight trains run down the middle of Main Street in La Grange’s business district. Visitors come from all over the country to partake! Trains pass through the city an average of 23 times a day, giving spectators ample opportunity to enjoy this phenomenon. The tracks can be viewed conveniently and comfortably from the train observation tower on Main Street. The La Grange Railroad Museum is a must-see destination.
