As you pull through the charming wooden gates at the entrance of In the Woods, you will immediately feel a sense of peacefulness. You have found it. Surrounded by 250 acres of beautiful greenery and lush woodlands, you have found the home of your fairytale wedding. In the Woods is a state of the art, fully inclusive wedding and event venue, located in the middle of our family-owned secluded property off of HWY 113 in Rockmart, GA. The setting is a very natural, country setting with many options to accommodate your every need and desire.

Cove Acre Farms was a working livestock farm for much of the 20th century, and still bears the character of those years. It was transformed into an event venue in 2014 by the Wright family. The Johnson family purchased the farm in early 2018 and have since turned it to one of the most unique wedding barns in Alabama. The barn is surrounded by farmland as far as can be seen, with a clear creek that flows through the property year round. The barn is approximately 14,000 square feet including two large, open balconies. The lower level includes bride and groom rooms with private baths. You may hold your event where you would like on the property, though we do have a few suggestions. The barn offers a large room downstairs, and a beautiful wooden dance floor and stage upstairs for indoor events. Outdoor options include: a lovely arbor in a manicured lawn, in front of mature hardwood trees, or one of several creek-side settings.

We also have a B and B in the mansion and have a package that includes an overnight for the Bride and Groom as well as 2 guests with breakfast! This package comes with professional planning and coordinating as well as our in house decor package. We also have throne chairs, loungers and other decor that can be rented for the big day! We offer in house catering as well as a DJ. We have two lovely outside wedding sites as well as a ballroom to hold up to 200…and if you have more guests we can rent tents!
