1910. That’s when this studio was built. That’s more than 100 years ago. Before the Titanic. Before World War I. Of course, when they built it they didn’t know it was a studio. They thought they’d built a factory for transforming raw cotton into fire-retardant fabrics. And they did just that for about 84 years. Next came a few years of hand-wringing and a few more of neglect and abandonment. In 2007, they finally turned it over to Jason Ivany. He set it back on track and transformed it into the daylight studio it was always meant to be just before the 100 year mark.

Ventanas is Atlanta’s premier event space with dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows which reveal a sweeping view of downtown and midtown Atlanta – a view that soars from Stone Mountain to Kennesaw Mountain. Perched atop the 14th and 15th stories of the Park Pavilion building in the city’s Centennial Park District, Ventanas offers 9,547 inspiring square feet of premier indoor and outdoor rooftop space across the street from Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola. The space is only one block from the CNN Center, State Farm Arena, Georgia World Congress Center, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, American Cancer Society and AmericasMart.

A 1920’s inspired space, the Cellar, harkens back to Prohibition days with original stonework and vintage lighting. This hidden gem, located below the main floor, features cozy lounge furniture, an oversized antique safe, stone walls, and whimsical lighting. Our venue was originally built in 1942, and used as munitions storage during World War 2. After that, it was repurposed for different industrial uses until the 1990s, when we moved in and set up our antique shop. Thirty years later, the area has changed incredibly and we no longer work in antiques!

Welcome to 42 West! Congrats on your special day! We are situated in a 50 year old building right in the middle of the hustle bustle of the West Side. Our space has all new upgrades and the warmth of unique brick touches. We are one of the newest independent venues on the west side of Atlanta with the only true outdoor space. Our stunning large iron doors open to our beautifully lit patio. Our entrance to venue is super unique and hidden. You guests will be so shocked when the wind their way to the space! Located in West Midtown Atlanta and built in 1970s, you will be greeted by the history that makes The West Venue the only venue of its kind in Atlanta. For years, the space was used to host congregations until 2003 when it was converted into an event hall. In 2020, the building was purchased and renovated to upgrade with latest amenities to add to its one of a kind character, while keeping original part of the building structure. The venue offers two distinct spaces for your event needs along with Grand Chandelier in Hall and 4k Projection Mapping!

Built from the granite of Stone Mountain, 550 Trackside was established as a Cotton Warehouse in 1904. Over the years, it has been known as The Langley General Store, The Mercantile Exchange, A Feed and Seed Co., the Grinder and the Goldkist Building. Prior to opening in 2008, we renovated, restored, and designed the venue to be a space where people can gather, connect, celebrate, and create memories. The high ceilings of 100-year-old rough-hewn wood, archways, chandeliers, furnishings, and attention to detail, captures and maintains its turn of the century authenticity and charm.

Use our Minister or bring your own to perform the ceremony and file the required marriage papers with the state of Georgia.
