One of my favorite parts of working with flowers is appreciating their full life cycle, from seed to bud to bloom to death. Flowers aren’t just for big events and celebrations- they are for healing, encouragement, quiet moments of looking, and moments of play. They speak loudly in a space for something so small. They are both tender and strong, shooting up from their seed.

Hi there, I'm so happy you're here! First off, I'm Kj, which stands for Kayla Jo. I'm just a small town, farm girl that loves spreading joy through flowers. I'm a lover of all things agriculture, Purdue, German Shepard's, ice cream and, most importantly, my family.

Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

As a special event florist my mission is to create original, quality, lasting keepsake florals, which reflect the beauty and eternal love that they help celebrate. Everything from first contact to completion is done solely through me. Yep, I’m a one-woman show. I love having personal interactions with all my clients and customers. Creating something truly unique for you is my greatest passion.
