The Century is a chic, urban venue built in the early 1900s with exposed brick walls, beautiful crystal chandeliers and gorgeous acacia wood floors. The Century has room for up to 250 guests for reception only, and up to 175 for a ceremony and a reception. Nine3One is a coworking facility located next door to The Century that opened 2019. Nine3One features 3 unique event spaces. The Alcove is the main event space that leads out into The Botanical Breezeway, a completely covered outdoor space that runs the length of the entire building. The Bouquet Bar is a small event space perfect for smaller parties and also makes a great space for cocktail hour. Nine3One has room for up to 70 guests when using all three spaces.

The spacious courtyard provides plenty of room for table seating up to 300 guests. As evening descends and stars emerge, romantic string lights outline the dance floor and 400 square foot cascading fountain. We also have a tavern-style bar, equipped with drink refrigerators, beer taps, cocktail tables and bar stools. Its grand arched double doors make it a great photo backdrop and when ready open out to the courtyard.. The First Street Alehouse wants to be your home away from home. Inspired by two brothers who wanted to bring a small slice of Chico to their new home town, the Alehouse provides an upbeat, social atmosphere while fostering a strong sense of community. It has been said that you may walk in the door not knowing anyone but you are sure to walk out the door with a few more friends. As you look around the Alehouse you will undoubtedly notice the stunning woodwork and incredible atmosphere, but if you look a bit closer you will see the subtle hints of a family. The hostess stand is lined with pictures of their kids, the family tricycle is hung from the rafters and their son’s footprints are set in the concrete as a reminder that they are all in this together.

Originally called Cold Spring Ranch due to an ice cold spring. The Dorrington Hotel was built in 1852 by John Gardner who married Rebecca Dorrington and moved her out from Scotland.
