Hi, Giselle here⎯Forever wedding florist and event planner + local magazine publisher living in a Lincoln Log Cabin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Texas-born, I'm exploring the Bluegrass State one restaurant at a time in between designing gorgeous weddings and traveling with my daughter Kenzie and my husband Aleks plus our newest edition, Baby Henry. Some of my favorite things are flowers, food/wine and my Sheltie pups.

What can I say? We love a great wedding! We love getting to know our couples and finding out their 'thing' that makes them unforgettable. We want their flowers and decor to be as unique and as one of a kind, as they are. We source local and regional seasonal flowers, as well as search for the perfect blooms from afar, as desired. Plain and simple, we get things done, with the goal of always exceeding your expectations. It's our job to make things look effortless and picture perfect, so you can just relax and enjoy your much anticipated day.

Black Rooster Farm is a women-owned and operated flower farm and design studio located in Louisville, Kentucky. Michelle started her career as a lawyer, but could not resist the pull of her family’s legacy—flowers! A third-generation florist, some of her earliest childhood memories include processing flowers at her grandmother’s shop in northern Indiana. She grew her love of flowers working along side her mom in creating amazing wedding florals for couples all over Indiana. Ask her and she will tell you that she was trained by the best! She brings her passion and years of experience in this art to the Owner/Creative Director role for One of a Kind Events.

Jeanie Gorrell Floral Design is the natural extension of a passion turned business for Jeanie. This has not only provided an outlet for expressing her creativity and imagination, but also gives satisfaction that comes from bringing joy to others. She understands that the language of flowers requires a personal touch, so she gets intimately involved in every aspect of your event. Jeanie graduated Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky in the Fine Arts. She has over 25 years working with flowers and has done numerous weddings and events in the Lexington, Louisville and surrounding areas.
