The Lakehouse is straight out of an interior design magazine and the waterfront property is unbeatable. Staff are friendly, professional, and accommodating. They have this business down. Our event producer, Victoria, was so helpful throughout the entire process, always timely with her replies to our various questions that came up along the way. Sapphire Event Group provides the service of a bridal attendant the day of the wedding and mine, Becky, was a huge help relieving stress and keeping me looking and feeling my best all night!

Wellfleet Preservation Hall

Wellfleet, MA

Wellfleet Preservation Hall provides a perfect setting for your special event, with two spacious halls and a beautifully landscaped grounds and garden. Wellfleet Preservation Hall is a magnificent site for every style of event from intimate gatherings to lavish weddings. Two famous hand-carved doors created by folk artist Jonathan Kendall welcome visitors to the upstairs Simone Reagor Hall. Special features have been preserved, including; pressed-tin ceilings, wood wainscoting, stained glass windows, a slate roof, and stunning crystal chandeliers. The lower, Geiger Hall, has a restored stage with full sound and lighting system, perfect for your band or DJ. The Hall is equipped with a commercial kitchen, elevator, six bathrooms and lobby spaces. The building is fully air-conditioned and handicapped accessible. Wellfleet Preservation Hall offers many different options to accommodate your event. Visit our website to schedule your tour today.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Provides a dedicated team on-site

Venue considerations

  • No all-inclusive dining options
  • Limited cleanup and setup services
  • No dedicated areas for getting ready
Wellfleet Preservation Hall was the perfect venue for our 100 person wedding. From the beginning, the staff was incredibly helpful and responsive, making the planning process smooth. Over the course of the year, there were multiple event coordinators as people changed over. Heather, who we ended up working with, picked up our event and the details professionally and was very timely in communications and very attentive during the rehearsal and the wedding day. The hall provided liquor and bartending services at a very reasonable rate, and also had tables, linens, and high tops available, which helped us save on rental costs. They also have audio/visual setups which was a help to our DJ. If you don't want to plan each vendor individually, I'd recommend a wedding planner. There are no packages for this venue, so we brought in catering, rentals, floral, dj, etc. The venue garden is absolutely beautiful, with a functional and artsy space indoors that allowed our 100 guests to move seamlessly between the indoor hall areas and the lovely garden and patio area. (It would have been cramped with any more than 100 if eating inside). It does have an elevator as well and is easy for older guests to get around. We did our ceremony outside in the garden, cocktail hour on the patio, dinner upstairs, and dancing downstairs with the bar on the patio. I'd highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful, functional, and unique space for their special day. Our guests keep telling us how wonderful it was.

We had an incredible experience with Saphire Event Group. From the very beginning, the entire team was professional, kind, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day perfect. A huge shoutout to Lexie, our event Producer—she was truly amazing. Lexie was with us every step of the way, from the planning process and being there for day-of coordination, and made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. One of the biggest benefits of working with Saphire Event Group is how much they offer in-house. They provided our food, event space setup (like chairs), linens, silverware, glassware, alcohol, and more. Having so many services under one vendor made planning incredibly easy and eliminated so much stress. The only things we outsourced were florals and our sound system. They were also fantastic about working within our budget and helping us make thoughtful choices without ever feeling pressured.
