“The team at Detroit Marriott brought my vision to life for my wedding. Donnielle and Jae were professional, courteous and communicated every step of the way. I created a my own wedding schedule and table seating that collaborated with their own outline and without hesitation, we brought everything together. My bridal team and my Aunt were able to complete all the decorations the day before my wedding day. Weddings can have so many unexpected changes and I will say in my case, they were able to adapt and assist with those changes, relieving me of extra stress. Energetically, they were so positive and very encouraging. My husband and I saved thousands booking here as well. I highly recommend!!!”

“We truly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect venue for our wedding than The Townsend. From the very beginning, our experience was absolutely incredible, and so much of that was because of Maia, our catering sales manager throughout the planning process. From helping us plan our engagement party to working through every detail leading up to our wedding day, Maia was incredibly helpful, attentive, and accommodating. She made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly what we envisioned. We absolutely loved both the ceremony and reception spaces. They were beautiful, elegant, and the perfect size for our guest count. The food was amazing from start to finish… from the appetizers to dinner and, of course, the desserts. Maia also helped us customize our dinner and event selections, which allowed us to make everything feel so personal and truly our own. No detail was overlooked.  The staff throughout the entire weekend was exceptional. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, constantly checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, while also handling everything behind the scenes so seamlessly that we never had to worry about a thing. That made such a difference on our wedding day because we were able to completely relax, be present, and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. We also loved having the bridal suite and room block available for our guests. The bridal suite was the perfect space for getting ready, and having breakfast and lunch brought in while we were preparing was incredibly convenient and made the morning even more enjoyable. One of the things that stood out to us most was the cleanliness, timelessness and overall luxury of The Townsend. Every part of the property and experience felt so well cared for, and the staff truly made our entire wedding weekend extra special. It was even better than we could have imagined. We are so grateful to everyone at The Townsend, especially Maia, for helping make our wedding everything we dreamed it would be. It was truly the perfect venue for our celebration, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone planning their wedding. Already planning our one-year anniversary weekend back at The Townsend!”
