I am Marissa, a photographer, mom, and wife. When I am not behind the camera you can find me venturing around Chicago or the country with my family. We love adventures and I love a delicious plate of nachos… snickers and a fizzy water I AM SURE YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY I DO WHAT I DO AND HOW I DO IT… I have always had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember… I mean even one of my daughter is named after a camera and the other is named after light.. I bet you can’t guess what their names are. I absolutely love being there to capture all moments in life… especially weddings.

I have a lot to offer, and I do things differently than most other photographers. More than anything, I want to make sure I’m the perfect fit for your wedding. My style and approach is a generous mix of documentary and editorial-style portraiture. For the majority of the day, I stay very hands off, focusing 100% on the story. You won’t find me asking you or your friends to stage or recreate moments, but you will find me ready to capture those moments before they even happen. During portraits, it’s a little different. I give plenty of direction, working to bring creative ideas and poses to make images that are as unique as the people in them.

I love to watch people interact and capture the authentically candid moments that happen throughout the session. Hej, I’m Anders, originally from Denmark, I made the move to the United States in 2019 to marry my wonderful wife, Kristin. Photography has always been a passion of mine, and I've coupled that with my love for adventure. Whether it's traveling the world, scuba diving, hiking, or ultra running, I've always found ways to incorporate photography into these experiences. However, everything changed for me when I shot my first wedding. Being part of such a special day, filled with love and magic, made me realize that this is what I truly want to do.

My name is Jana Blue and I've been photographing weddings for 10 years. I'm consistent not in a trend of photos or style, but emotions. Each wedding and couples are so unique and my work follows that. In my career I've photographed both big production weddings and also intimate DIY ones. I've photographed informal engagements and elopements/weddings in a desert in Chile, in the mountains of Zion, in a beach in Croatia, in an ancient church in Greece and in forests in Brazil. I work with all different budgets and needs from my brides. I'm a preferred vendor of Chicago First Lady Boat, so I do weddings on the boat during the summer.

I captured my first wedding in August of 2018, it was the day I fell head over heels in love with wedding photography. It's all about capturing the love story for me..the feels from beginning to end.
