I have been passionate about film and photography for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was always filming with my parents' camcorder (do people have those anymore??). It was just a hobby of mine until a friend asked if I would film her cousin's wedding in 2015. After watching a few "how-to" videos on YouTube and purchasing some basic equipment, I filmed my first wedding using a GoPro and iPhone. That year, I decided to invest in my first DSLR camera. Through word of mouth, I filmed five weddings in 2016 and 15 weddings in 2017 - the rest is history.

Since starting The Heartfelt Narrative in 2017, I’ve focused on telling love stories in a way that feels natural and deeply personal. My goal is to make every couple feel comfortable and heard while seamlessly blending into their wedding day. Clients often describe me as personable, organized, and professional, and I take pride in creating films that reflect each couple’s unique bond. Beyond filming, I love sharing insights through my wedding video blogs, helping couples navigate the planning process, and even guiding first-time officiants

Hi, I'm Josiah! I grew up in New Hampshire but lived in Los Angeles for over 4 years, working on set of Oscar-nominated films, music videos, TV shows, and much more, learning everything I could in the art of visual storytelling. Since the pandemic, my wife and I have moved back to New Hampshire and have started a small wedding photography/videography business, Sierra does photos and Josiah does videos.

I fell in love with creating films when I was in middle school. I used to borrow my parents video camera and make mini movies with my friends at school.
