Something Borrowed Blooms

Rating: 4.8 (179 reviews)

“The flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms were, above all, gorgeous. They also cost a fraction of getting real flowers from a florist. (As in, several thousands of dollars less for something equally beautiful.) The flowers got many compliments and everyone was shocked they weren't real! The centerpiece and bouquets in the attached photos are from the Wren collection. The customer service at Something Borrowed Blooms is also highly responsive and helpful. Getting your wedding flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms is one of the best planning decisions you'll make: the blooms are high quality and easy to use, plus MUCH friendlier for your wallet and the environment.”

“From our first conversation, Jase of Watch What Blooms made us feel welcome and excited about our flowers. They asked thoughtful questions about our vision and really listened to what we wanted, which helped them create arrangements that felt totally personal to us. The quality of their work was stunning—every detail was perfect, from the bridal bouquet to the centerpieces—and the price was fair for what we got. On the day of our wedding, they went above and beyond to make sure everything looked beautiful, even adjusting things on the fly to match the vibe of our venue. We couldn't have asked for a better florist, and we'd recommend Watch What Blooms to any couple looking for flowers that are both gorgeous and reasonably priced.”

Watch What Blooms

Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)

Starts at $1,500
Serves Dana Point, CA

Hi, I’m Jase the girly behind Watch What Blooms! I’m really just a girl who decided to do the flowers for her own wedding and somehow ended up falling headfirst into the floral world. I fell in love with the creative outlet, the way flowers can make people feel, and that “wait… I actually made that?!” feeling that comes with trying something new and seeing it all come together. What started as me taking a chance on myself has turned into something I genuinely love doing. I’m always learning, creating, and probably overthinking the placement of a flower or two — but at the end of the day, I just love bringing someone’s vision to life. So send me your inspo, tell me what you’re dreaming up, and let’s see what we can create together.

Lynne Lucente Floral Design

“If you want to hire a Florist who will listen to your vision and work with you to obtain it, Lynne Lucente Floral Design is the right company! We had to work long distance via emails & phone. Her software is so easy to work with. You will enjoy her design boards and her ability to adapt them to your design or budget. She visited our rehearsal dinner site, Glasspar Restaurant Patio and designed perfectly styled arrangements that fit narrow tables. She was timely and set up early so we could walk in and enjoy! Lynne also did the wedding! You should see the arch for the wedding couple. Actually a circle. Spectacular! She also repurposed the flowers from the rehearsal into the wedding since we all lived out of town. She is one of those vendors who is so good you actually do want to meet her in person.”

Beloved Events Co.

“Planning a COVID wedding was extremely stressful to say the least. But I’m so glad I hired Beloved Events Co because I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them. I had to reschedule my wedding two times due to COVID changing our original plans and by the third time, I just wanted to give up. My original coordinator decided she was unable to continue with my wedding due to growing concerns of safety due to COVID, (which was totally understandable!) BUT with less than a month left to the wedding, I was panicking to find someone to help. I was lucky that Angie was available on such short notice. I originally hired Beloved Events Co just for florals but after hearing about my dilemma, Angie offered her services and I was so grateful to have her. As soon as Angie stepped in as my coordinator, everything started to flow SO SMOOTHLY! During the few weeks before my wedding, she took care of communications between the other vendors, was always keeping me in the loop, and managed our timeline and all the other small details. Communications may not seem like such a big deal, but when you’re working a 9-5 job and you can’t be readily available to plan every small detail with every single vendor, then having someone take care of all the communications suddenly becomes a HUGE deal. It seriously made me wonder why I hadn’t hired Angie sooner!!! I would have been a much less stressed-out bride. The wedding was flawless thanks to Angie and she did an amazing job bringing my dream florals to life. She listened to all my concerns in regards to keeping this event as COVID-safe as possible and delivered beyond what I expected. If you’re looking for a coordinator or a florist, all I can say is that you won’t regret going with Beloved Events Co. They genuinely care for their brides and will make sure that you can just enjoy the process getting married!!”
