“The team at The Hamilton Manor made our wedding day nothing short of magical. From the moment we booked with them, their communication was fast, warm, and incredibly understanding as they expertly guided us through the planning process. On the day of, they ensured every single detail was perfect - from the gorgeous, clean decor to the phenomenal food that all our guests raved about. When I had a small panic attack right before walking down the aisle, they were there to calm me down and make sure I was feeling ready. The bridal suite and groom room were also incredible spaces for us to get ready in before the ceremony. The Hamilton Manor truly did not forget a single thing, and they made our special day the most amazing it could possibly be. We are so grateful for their hard work and professionalism.”

“We chose Philmont for our 11/03/2023 wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the venue and the staff (special shout out to Ariel and Jimmy). We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was, which thrilled me and my husband to hear. Ariel was who I coordinated with for months, and she deserves all the good praise in the world. She was always helpful and responsive, which is key for a bride-to-be who is juggling the plethora of responsibilities and vendors prior to the big day. She was absolutely a key member of the team to ensure everything with smoothly, and had endless patience for my many questions. I would recommend her to anyone. With the recent construction going on outside the venue, my husband and I were filled with trepidation as that was something that started up a few months before our wedding day, but the staff truly went above and beyond to make sure that was nothing but a hiccup on the day. We received so much praise for the venue and the outdoor ceremony space, and our guests stated that everything was beautiful. Jimmy was incredible during our Tasting, and helped us pick the perfect menu for our guests. We chose the plated option (Filet, Tuscan Chicken, and Honey-Soy Salmon), and their Honey-Soy Salmon was a massive hit with myself and the guests who ordered it. We also heard endless compliments for the appetizers and stations serviced during cocktail hour. Jimmy was a huge help to us when it came to picking the perfect menu, and was also an excellent Day-Of coordinator. He made sure everything was running smoothly on the wedding day, and helped our rather large party line up and walk for the ceremony. The staff here are truly what made this experience incredible, and it's thanks to them that we had our perfect day.”

It is an excellent site for bird-watching. The preserve was established in 1934 within the Washington Crossing Historic Park at the site where George Washington‘s army camped during the American Revolutionary War. Venue considerations

“From the first time we reached out to the team at Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, they were very responsive, getting back to us within 48 hours. As our wedding date approached, their communication became even more great as they helped us navigate the DIY elements of the venue. While we had to handle a lot of the setup ourselves, their day-of coordinator was a huge help, even providing a golf cart to shuttle us around the sprawling property. Everything is outsourced at Bowman's, but the coordinator did a pretty good job ensuring our special day ran smoothly. The bathrooms did flood and we are still looking for some of our things as our things were piled up all over. Overall, we were very pleased with the value and unique setting Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve provided for our wedding.”

“Megan, the director, is an absolutely dream to work with. quick responses, explains everything clearly, a sweetheart. Hotel is super clean, the food is amazing and the staff were lovely. The Maitre De went missing a lot throughout the day, to the point where my uncle had to find her whenever i needed. They set up & cleaned everything up for us which was lovely. the hotel bar stayed open late (sunday wedding) but you couldn’t make it private. so you had people at the bar trying to add to an open tab. you get a room block, the director of rooms Rebecca is very easy to work with as well. the outdoor ceremony space is gorgeous!!! Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803 to 1811 when need arose of a larger meetinghouse in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Caters to out-of-town guests
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Both indoor and outdoor options

Venue considerations

  • Does not provide event staff
  • Limited cleanup and setup services

“Arch Street Meeting House proved to be the ideal spot for our wedding. Jenn was an absolute pleasure to work with and made sure she understood exactly what we were looking for and how her team could help bring it to fruition. They allowed us to close the grounds to the public so that our guests could mingle and sip champagne outside in the beautiful weather. All of the guests commented on how tangibly historical the venue was and how they loved the simplicity and timelessness of the ceremony space. (Which looks absolutely stunning in the few preview photos we've gotten back.) Because it was so much more affordable, we also decided to hold our rehearsal dinner there and hired a taco truck to act as the caterers. All in all, I can't recommend ASMH or Jenn and the team more highly!!”

“Lily and I had been coming to Libertee grounds for many years and absolutely loved the food, the environment, and putput! When we were thinking about where to do our pre-wedding get together Libertee was the first place that came to mind. Ellie was incredible in making our vision come to reality. The night before our wedding we ended up having 200 people come from all over the world, asian fusion buffet, open bar, a DJ and henna artist, and watched our families have the time of their lives and mingle. Our guests raved about their time and many have since been frequenting the grounds. Ellie and the LG team made the event completely seamless and our only worry was how to save our voices for the Wedding day! We highly highly recommend Libertee grounds for any event big or small, and can't wait to be back!”

“From day 1 working with Tyler we knew this was our venue. He was able to answer all questions and always got back to us in a timely matter. Then we started working with Cathy and she made the process as easy as possible. She made sure we were comfortable and that we had all paperwork needed. She was very sweet! The venue itself was very beautiful, we got so many compliments on choosing the Warrington, as well as compliments on the food. The food was AMAZING! If we had to do it again, we would choose the warrington a thousand times. Thank you all again”

“South Gate Manor was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From start to finish, I was able to communicate with Matthew and Chris so easily. They were both super efficient and caring while planning the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Matthew was there the whole time and he ensured that my husband and I were taken care of from start to finish. Bobby was an absolute dream to work with and he made sure whole night ran smoothly. Lizette was my bridal attendant and was the most kind person to me all day - I couldn’t have asked for a better team for such a special day. The quality of the venue is impeccable and it was so great to have such a private space. The venue is so clean with the most fresh scent in the whole building, and everything is spotless with their appearance. The vibe and atmosphere of the venue is super romantic and dreamy. From our arrival to the venue to cocktail hour then to reception and our final to go pizza station by Brooklyn Square, the food was so unbelievably delicious and we enjoyed every morsel with such an abundance of all food items on top of it! I felt such relief and comfort the day of our wedding all thanks to the South Gate Manor team. All of the staff that were there on our special day did the most phenomenal job, and I love the whole Marino family! They truly made sure everyone enjoyed themselves as well as cared for our loved ones and us all night long.”

“We held our wedding reception at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in November 2024 as well as hosted our wedding room block. We'd highly recommend for both! We have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about Andreea Denes with catering. We've worked with Andreea for about a year and a half now and she feels like family! Andreea is both professional and personable and ensured we knew all our options for a reception at the Loews. Andreea helped us take advantage of all the amazing event spaces the Loews has to offer (cocktail hour on the 33rd floor, reception in the Millennium Hall, after party in Bank & Bourbon) as well as created a custom package for our reception and cocktail hour that reflected everything we could have wanted. Maria and Lena with the room reservation teams were so wonderful to work with, taking amazing care of our families and accommodating all our changes and requests. The entire Loews staff (catering, concierge, front desk, etc) was absolutely wonderful during our stay. Our guests are still commenting on the exceptional service. About a third of our wedding guests stayed at the Loews and expressed it was the perfect location to spend the weekend exploring Philadelphia.”
